Thinking about making a Mancora Peruvian Restaurant booking?

Mancora is a unique proposition in Sydney’s restaurant scene. Even as Peruvian cuisine (and ceviche in particular) has taken off as a global foodie phenomenon, Mancora holds the mantle as one of Sydney’s first truly Peruvian restaurants. Still fresh-faced, but certainly something of a veteran, Joe Leon’s flagship down Addison Road in Marrickville remains a top destination for Andean eats in the city, offering up a menu that covers delicacies that call the Peruvian Pacific coast, the high-altitude Andes, or the humid Amazon regions home.

You’d be foolish to book at Mancora Peruvian Restaurant and not try their signature ceviche or causa dishes. Using nothing but the freshest catch, the ceviche at this Marrickville restaurant comes in classic form or as a mixed seafood version. Only organic potatoes (and there are thousands of Peruvian species of the humble tuber) make their way into the causas, served with aji amarillo, avocado and mayonnaise and filled with either with tuna, chicken, or octopus. An incredible selection of meaty, seafood-dominant, and vegetarian dishes follow through, including Leon’s chef’s specials, again unmissable should you be lucky enough to grab a spot at this ever-popular Peruvian restaurant down Addison Road.
