The place is stuck in the 80s and the service is pretty basic. But the server was very sweet and concerned to make sure we enjoyed our meal. This place gets a high rating for the quality and taste of their food - the lamb was the best I've had in years and the falafel plate was delicious.
Food was good but disappointing as I expected something more in line with the style the Café presents so if you like run of the mill Aussie fare it is ok. Male waiter didn't have a clue what he was doing but was polite.
Reason why I have given a low score is, we asked for no lamb dishes but we were still served Lamb other than that Fantastic food we ordered the banquet, will dine here again. Bonus is BYO the wine list isn't great, $10 corkage.
