Friendly staff, good service value for money food good, would recommend.

My husband and I love this place. We have our regular date day there weekly. Sandra and her husband are amazing and we love them. It's a great environment and it's become an institution.

Just honest pub food. Good service and friendly staff. Live music was a nice touch.

I arranged a work lunch with seven of my colleagues as one was leaving. I ordered the Seafood Marinara as I had tried it a few weeks before and I thought it was that good then that I just couldn't go past it this time, but sadly the dish had no flavor and was missing the prawns, as stipulated on the menu. I told the waitress when the plate was cleared and she pretty much just said ok I will tell her and that was all I heard no apology nothing. It was pretty evident that the plate still had most of the food on it but she just didn't seem to care.

We waited for our meal, that was ok but then my toasted sandwich and chips was cold. Disappointing.

Great bar nice and quiet very reasonably priced and the guys in the kitchen do a great job..Fast service and happy to accommodate customers...

We went in hoping for a nice meal and atmosphere, we walked straight out again as it was so noisy and full of loud people that had too much to drink. The tables are just stuck in the side of the bar section and it all smelled like stale beer, and there was no point to booking a table as it was a free for all. I'm sure the food would have been nice but we're not going back to find out.

Thank you for a lovely lunch. I had ordered and paid for the Gnnocci. Was a bit disappointed when told that there was none left :( Explained I was a vegan so there was little else I could choose except the salad. I must say I was pleasantly surprised with my 'special' order. Congratulations, it was very nice!!!

One of the only pubs in the CBD that's held true to it's character from decades ago and for that reason it's a little gem. It's warm, its comfortable; the beer's good; it's pub grub and that's fine. The only thing on the downside was the music - which was very good - was not background and a notch or so too loud and invaded the conversation too much, which defeats the intention of the type of ambience the place is obviously set up to provide with niches of 'olde world' leather sofas and tables scattered throughout. Apart from that its got a pleasant, relaxed character and a great place to meet friends and while away the time . I hope it doesn't change! Went for lunch and an afternoon with old mates. Could be a lot different later with the 5 o'clock swill!

Excellent visit, we always go there for office lunch and this place never disappoints

Overpriced pub grub with a reasonable range of offerings on the menu. Food so-so. Friendly staff. Several intoxicated patrons apparently being served alcohol at the bar.

Second time there and as before, experienced a wonderful time... the food was delicious, staff very friendly, location excellent etc. thankyou !! will come again.

Pleasantly surprised as I used to frequent the establishment about 30 years ago with it was the "Alambra Bar" Great food and drink at very reasonable prices will certainly come back

Location was convenient. Food was okay. Venue was alright. Not a great pub but certainly fine for a business lunch. Beer was reasonably priced and staff were attentive.

Good food and good service. A bit noisy, but that would be expected. I think our group had a good time and would consider returning.

It was a quiet place on a Wednesday night which was nice as my partner and I could talk and not have to listen to other people's conversations. The staff were great too

Friendly staff greeted us on arrival. Our reserved table was in the quieter lounge area perfect for conversation. All our meals were delicious and the service was quick - perfect for our 1 hour lunch break. Thank you

We had a table for 10 and Some of the meals for half the table didn't come out until the other half had finished eating. BUt other than that it was ok.

We have been here before , like this place so we keep coming back, Excellent as always thanks , we will book again soon, cheers

Nice food and a good selection of drinks, lovely and cool when it's hot outside. They have a lot of space and tables available for small to large groups. Will be returning.

Came here for a work lunch and service was quick to get us in and out in under an hour. Plenty of meal options for under $20. Everyone was very happy with their meals and portions were a decent size. Chef was also happy to accommodate requests and food allergies. My lemon pepper calamari with chips and salad was delicious!
