The owner was very friendly. He went above and beyond in accomodating our requests. The place itself has a chic atmosphere about it that will make you feel relaxed while you treat your tastebuds on their delectable meals. Will definitely recommend and visit again.

What a great venue for pre game f & b. Will definitely book again. However needs to ensure they are better stocked for the larger days.

Great atmosphere with some good music and good food! Would’ve loved a cocktail though maybe next time they will be on the menu but wine was nice. Very Friendly staff

limited event menu. our party all ordered schnitzels. Gravy was watery and limited for something you paid extra for. The schnitzels were over cooked, dark and too crunchy. and the slaw had no or limited dressing so very bland. Food was ordinary to be honest. Wine was good though. Probably wont return.

The food was not very nice. The snitzel was very dry and the gravy was runny. There was not enough selection on the menu. Would not recommend.

Great venue, staff & service. Music was perfect, not too loud so we could still speak to friends. Perfect pre concert venue, will definitely be back

Glad we booked. Great, simple menu and the food was good. Meals didn't all come at the same time but as there was a concert on, think they do it really well. Will definitely be back.

Food better than the average available in Olympic Park, though there's better for less elsewhere in the inner west. Service is always with a smile and Abattoir Blues is a fast favourite in SOP.

Great option for pre show drinks and dinner. Good food and well priced wine list. The beer garden is really nice and had live music playing which gave it a great atmosphere.

Great food even though it was a busy event night and menu, we had the chicken shop burger and Stubbs BBQ burger, bother were delicious!! Only gripe is tables are very close together but on an event night I guess that is to be expected! Make a reservation to avoid queues!!!

It was a freezing cold afternoon with both the courtyard and inside booked out but no outdoor heaters! There were some blankets offered but not enough for everyone outside. Food was also only just warm and needed to be scoffed before it was fully cold and so we could leave and find somewhere warm.

Lovely location. Very friendly staff. Food was OK. Would have liked more variety of food and wine. Previous reviews said it was hard to find but it wasn't really. Would probably go there again.

Nice venue. Buzzy & quirky. Outdoor area would be great spot in summer for drinks. Food offerings mainly burgers, schnitzel, fish & chips. I had grilled salmon- generous portion, nicely cooked. The quinoa, kale, avocado salad was disappointing - very little of it, poorly presented & lacking in dressing. Expected a bit more for $25. My companion had beef burger. She commented on the good quality of the burger itself. But once again the salad inside the large bun was sparse. There was also a unecessarily large mountain of chips. Also disappointing was not able to have a nice post dinner coffee. No coffee is served after 4pm! Odd. Perhaps the owners don’t want us to linger & want to shovel more eating customers through. Staff were pleasant and efficient. Would I go back? Probably not. Quality of main dish was good, but let down by lack of care in presenting accompanying good quality salads etc. And no coffee!

Even though it was a very busy night due to the State of Origin and we arrive a bit earlier than our booking time our table was ready for us within a couple of minutes. We ordered our food & wine which we received almost instantly and the atmosphere was great for the occasion. Overall a very enjoyable time. Hope to go back.

Had a quaint dinner at Abattoir Blues before a concert at Qudos Bank Arena and it was great! Very helpful and attentive staff. It is tucked back so a little hard to find in the night/rain, but well worth the few extra steps. There did seem to be a lighting issue as they would flicker often, but food was incredible and well priced.

Great value and delicious!!! Will definitely return to this cafe again. Consistently well prepared meals served within a family run cafe that has a sense of family about it.
