Good food. Very busy on a Saturday night, with downside that you have to order at the counter. Had run out of some things when we were there as kitchen closes at 7:30pm

Great service, solid menu and a perfect location close to ANZ Stadium. Burgers were well cooked and prepared quickly. Menu could be a bit more exciting. Will definitely go back.

Pleasant space and good music. Food wasn't as good quality as I'd hoped, but it was quick and I suppose given the location and customer base that's the trade off made. Staff were alright too.

This was our 4th or 5th visit and again we were not dissapointed - I think the motto here is “Keep it simple” - brief but adequate menu / polite staff / nice ambience / quirky fit out . if I have one criticism it is that the music can be a little loud for a venue where most people are trying to converse - the music choices are fine just a little less volume

Abbatoir Blues is a great restaurant to go for a beautiful breakfast at a reasonable price. The staff went out of their way to give us what we wanted and it was just a short stroll across the road from the Novotel Sydney Olympic Park.

Perfect venue for casual dinner before the show. And perfect to stay for one more drink when you don't want to watch the support act. Booking essential of course.

Booked table for dinner before Ed Sheeran concert - skipped the huge queue forming, and great table was ready & waiting when we arrived. Basic menu for these busy nights, but enough to make a good choice - Tasty meal came quickly, and good range of drinks too. The perfect pre-event dinner (but you have to book!).

Staff were really friendly, food was great, good selection of offerings for an event day menu. DJ music was far too loud for a meal period, better suited to later in the evening. However staff were helpful when asked to lower the volume. I am so happy I booked ahead as the que out the door was massive, obviously worth the wait for those lined up!

Great night. They obviously know how to cater to a big event crowd. Had a great burger and lots of chips for under $20 so why would you line up with the hoards of people at the food vans. We booked ahead and had a great table waiting for us on arrival.

Abattoir Blues has a wonderful courtyard area and it was buzzing with the pre-Robbie Williams crowd. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. Food was delicious - we went with the simple chicken schnitzel and chips option and couldn't fault it. Overall an easy and tasty pre-show experience.

We were pleasantly greeted and seated immediately. It is order & pay at the counter which I Iike. Food & drinks reasonably priced. Food is tasty & came quickly. Music provided a good pre-concert atmosphere.

We met up with friends and grabbed something to eat before seeing Queen with Adam Lambert at Qudos. If that’s all you are after, then I recommend it but book a table. The menu is limited on event days, service is friendly but our food came out one or 2 meals at a time and over a period of about 30mins or more. Nothing special about the burgers or pies (and I wouldn’t recommend the pork burger), however, it wasn’t a bad atmosphere, the courtyard was pleasant and I would possibly go back again. I imagine it would be different when it wasn’t quite so busy.

The establishment is clearly well run with the exemplary staff, organised, attentive and pleasant. The food was excellent, however, the specials had run out by 6.15pm and, sadly, there were no desserts. All that said, this is a great place to eat before a concert/game/function with a selection of main meals and a beverage list sufficient to cater for most tastes.

Well cooked food, did have to wait a short time as it was an event evening. Loved the 'injectable' gravy for my meat pie. Given the choice of sitting inside or out - we chose in. Would have preferred a better choice of non-alcoholic drinks.

Hard to find if u use Herb Elliott address - food cold - 5 people all came out at different times - limited food choices - waitress didn’t know if one choice Pie & Sweet mash should have been served warm - didn’t deliver & certainly did not impress
