Really nice, fresh food, happy service, and very well priced. This was our end of year team lunch and our team enjoyed everything. Well done!

Quaint and quiet indoor setting and a lively melbourne outdoor environment. Impeccable service and fantastic and flavoursome meals. Recommend the honey mustard fajitas, a definite winnner!

Went there for a work function. The food was great, the staff were lovely, and I loved the whole atmosphere. Will definitely be back for more sangria!

Restaurant was good, nice cocktails and a good variety of Mexican food. Staff were friendly and professional. The food was cooked quickly. Overall pretty satisfied with this restaurant.

It was good but not great. Nice location and atmosphere and great sangria, but the nachos were average and guacamole wasn’t really guacamole (more like green sour cream) and weirdly presented in a dish with the corn chips standing on their sides. Would go there again for drinks and Pico de Gallo though :)

Excellent service and food with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, which is a rare find in the bug of hardware lane. Look forward to visiting again.

Great drinks and food. Atmosphere was ambient. Staff were nice, polite and helpful. Toilets were upstairs, long walk from downstairs. Food came out prompt and tastes so good.

Very quaint location. In a sea of other restaurants but not out of their depth. Fabulous food, large portions (be warned) and great service. Would recommend for lovers of Mexican food.

Food I’d always good, beef nachos are amazing. Good value for money. Only negative, they don’t split bills and I don’t get why restaurants can’t do this...

Food was very good and the place had a nice ambiance. However the service staff were often MIA and they could have been more attentive.

We paid $70.50 for old El Paso from the supermarket. It’s was flavourless, tasteless and no where near the Amigo’s I remember from when I went a few years ago. I was embarrassed to have recommended it after my experience there last night.

Service was a liitle slow, and the beef in my Fajita was so tough it was almost un-chewable. Meals were too large and seemed a lot of waste, perhaps make meals smaller, so prices can be kept down, as I felt overpriced. Would not return.

Food was great service was very slow and drinks took about half an hour to come out. Would recommend but it’s a shame about the service times

Great service, happy hour cocktails were great! Enjoyed the classic nachos and the pork belly taco in a soft tortilla. The quesadillas was also delicious!

Very friendly staff and great food. Loved the mexican mules 👍😉 Eat too much and left happy and full. Hardware Lane has a great atmosphere and would recommend a visit to Aimgos to all.

We went for a work function and the staff were amazing. We had a great time. Gwen was particularly fantastic with helping organise, she was flexible to support us and made the whole experience easy. The food was great, the drinks kept coming, all in all it was a perfect event. Thanks guys.

Loved this place, friendly staff, prompt service, awesome atmosphere. Had happy hour drinks and they were fabulous, as were our main meals. Definitely reccomended to all!

Quite average Mexican Food. Fonda's is much better. Also please offer some spicy food options as you did not have any spicy sauce or fresh chili. Only a horrible sweet chili sauce was available.

As usual, excellent, great staff, great food, great atmosphere. We are borderline regulars here and the one thing that always underscores this place is consistency. Always walk away from here happy.

The Stormy Weather cocktail was balls deep!! The large nachos could have been bigger and there could have been more beef in the shredded beef, but it was great!

I wish I could give more blocks for my experience! Food was delicious! We had the stuffed jalapenos, which were so good, we ordered another plate! There were 7 of us, and the orders were Nachos, Fajitas, Burrito's and the trio of dips. Not one complaint from anyone. The portions were generous and the food was really flavoursome. Coctktails were fantastic! and even though there was a large group of us, we did not wait long for food or drinks. Staff were fantastic, Our server "Raul" was really accommodating, friendly and professional. I would HIGHLY recommend this place, in fact, as it was my 40th birthday celebration, several people at the table who have birthdays coming up, have decided to have their meal there as well! Thanks Amigos!!! You made my 40th a night to remember xx

The food, staff and service, restaurant atmosphere and location made for a great evening. Will be returning to Amigos on our next visit to Melbourne.

A great atmosphere there on Hardware Lane plus good fresh Mexican food = a great dining experience. Definitely worth the visit! Their quick lunch menu makes it feasible to get a good deal in and out during a work lunch and costs are quite reasonable.

Food was so delicious! Service was great, the waitress we had was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for Mexican lunch/dinner

Staff were super friendly upon arriving and were understanding about us running late. Drinks were delicious and well made and wait staff were quick to take orders. Food was amazing and tasty.

I have been going to the amigos stores for over 20 years the Hardware lane store is the only remaining store with the original Amigos flavour. Always fantastic food.
