About Ardross Street Cafe

The ideal spot for some all day breakfast or just some coffee with smashed avo on toast, Ardross Street Cafe Applecross is a firm favourite across Perth. Funnily enough, the cafe itself is located on Ardross Street – just in case the name wasn’t enough of a giveaway! Rumour has it that the suburb of Ardross sits on land that was once acquired by a Scotsman by the name of Sir Alexander Percival Matheson. Ardross’ name is thought to have come from Ardross Castle near Inverness in Scotland. Zoom ahead 120 years and you will find alfresco dining is done the right way at Ardross Street Cafe, with loads of outdoor seating and tables nestled underneath the jacaranda trees that flank this gorgeous eatery. You can expect to find excellent espresso-based coffee served alongside classic café-style breakfasts and lunches, seven days a week. So, why not book a table today?

Food was great and staff were excellent in tailoring some menu items to suit our taste. The al fresco pavement area was lovely on the beautiful day we chose to go there. Glad we booked as it was very busy. Would recommend highly.

The food was very good, coffee was also very good price was fair the service was poor. We had to ask for the table to be cleared of breakfast dishes when ordering a second coffee. Would give a higher rating if the service was improved.

Our favourite cafe! Wonderful village setting underneath the jacaranda trees or inside which has been tastefully redecorated. Friendly efficient service, delicious superbly plated food, enjoy!
