Tried to call the restaurant to advise I was going to be 20min late, phone disconnected, no recent photos on social media, ended up cancelling the visit without notice as I was afraid the place was closed down. Terrible experience from start to end

Staff were lovely, the food great and were yet to try the tiramisu.

We would definitely go back to Argento Cucina Everything was really good and the young man serving us topped it off - he was friendly, had a good sense of humour, was informative and overall excellent. We regret not asking him his name so we could mention him in this review, but we were at the restaurant Friday 10 October.

This was my second dining experience at Argento and both have been excellent. The food is delicious and generously portioned, proving their motto of 'just like home'. The waitress is very welcoming and on both occasions the owner Angelo came out for a chat, which delighted my chatterbox husband. We will certainly be returning.

Sunday roast - pork belly with crispy crackling and all the trimmings - absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

Quaint restaurant with a pleasant ambiance. Service was great and food delicious. We started with warm olives and ciabatta with oil and balsamic vinegar. Olives were plentiful. Our mains were spaghetti marina which was very tasty and a good size plate with a variety of seafood. I had the 14 hour cooked beef cheeks which melted in your mouth and was served on a bed of mashed potatoes and vegetables with a lovely sauce. We finished with the tiramisu which was delightful. All fresh and authentic home made comfort food. We will definitely return. Well done Argento Cucina

A really good, intimate dining experience - good, authentic Italian food served by friendly front of house staff with exemplary attention to detail. The visit to the table by the chef at the end of the meal added an extra piece of quality to the experience. We'll definitely go back.
