It was busy but the staff were attentive . A great selection of local produce was centered around the menu dishes and and the food great.

Fantastic food- great service- loving the new chefs Italian food with impeccable balance in seasoning and flavour. Best arancini ever and we loved the different flavours being put together. Makes it very interesting.

Au Pear has all the makings for an excellent reatuarant, including a delightful outside area, but the food was underwhelming compared to other restuarants in the region.

This is one of my favourite SA restaurants. Food and service is outstanding. I enjoy the attention to detail and range of flavours. Especially fresh local produce.

Enjoyed the whole ambience of the place and food experience was really good ! Beautifully cooked scallops! It is always my test of the chef!

This restaurant is perfect. The venue, views, staff, food and drinks were all amazing. The Affogatto alone is worth the visit with the best home made ice cream ever. We enjoyed meat and seafood and they were all melt in your mouth perfect.

Beautiful Mothers Day lunch enjoying the sunshine in the sheltered Garden room. The meal was topped off by Ryan (chef) coming to our table and happy to talk about what is clearly his passion. Hope your mum has the best night, I think she will! We will certainly be back.

Highly recommended. Lamb and chicken dishes exceptional, and so too the desserts, especially the chocolate dream! Very good local wines by the glass. Coffee excellent.

My Sister and I enjoyed a delightful lunch in the garden last week. The service was great and the food was presented beautifully. Although the menu was not large the selection offered provided choices and it was beautifully presented. The staff were attentive but not obtrusive.

Beautiful light filled place to eat amongst the willunga vines. Food seasonal, local, and delicious. Highly recommended . Also has kids menu so family friendly .

Lovely food, great service, beautiful setting - two and half hours just flew by! Not our first time and it certainly won't be our last visit.

We had the degustation and loved it. The pork and the scallops were my favourite dishes. The service was excellent too. We will definitely return.

Food and atmosphere were excellent; server should have been more knowledgable about the menu. The wine I wanted was out of stock and there was not a replacement of the same variety. I highly recommend au pear.

Great service, lovely food and beautiful surrounds. Friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. Presentation of the food was excellent. Everything cooked to perfection and the dessert was a real work of art.

Lovely venue, excellent service....very limited menu...food not as nice as we expected....a little dissapointing, but having said that would give it another try, with a different choice of menu.

Beautiful plating of dishes and great potential. But each dish seem to have a fault (easily fixable). The octopus dish flavours were delicious but the octopus was a bit chewy, the brisket dish was tasty but it was too fatty (not in a good way), the pork was beautifully cooked but the crispy element (crisp) should have had more flavour to pull the dish together, the poached pear was nice but not amazing - it needed something - a crispy texture or an unusual spice. I still enjoyed my meal - just a few minor tweaks would have taken the dishes to the next level. The restaurant itself is beautiful overlooking their vineyards. I think this restaurant has tremendous potential and I'm prepared to try it again.
