Every suburb of Sydney needs an Italian restaurant it can rely on, and in Bacco Re, the people of Enfield have theirs. Just off Liverpool Road, the small but completely dedicated team at Bacco Re do everything they can to make their guests happy, the restaurant itself is stylish and rustic and the menu, well, it’s pasta and pizza done absolutely right. Classic flavour combinations make up the bulk of it, the prices are sublime and it’s really very difficult to go wrong. Reserve a table now.
The food at Bacco Re has a great reputation in Enfield and indeed other surrounding areas of Sydney, and as we’re assuming the food is why you’re here, we’ll get straight to it. Begin your visit to Liverpool Road with traditional antipasti, mixed and paired however you like best. We were particular fans of the swordfish rolls with a light Italian-style breadcrumb, the arancini Siciliani, and the Australian mussels with white wine, garlic, black pepper, parsley and lemon. Alternatively, Bacco Re sure know how to make a refreshing salad, or put together a sharing plate.
You won’t find better pasta dishes at any other Italian restaurant in Enfield. There, we said it and we’re not sorry. Dishes like the homemade tortellini stuffed with salmon and saffron cream and prawns really do put a smile on your face, as does the daily risotto special. In terms of pizza, most are classically-topped and you have the option of either a mozzarella base, pizza bianche, or tomato and mozzarella, pizze rosse. Bacco Re really is worth the trip from just about anywhere in Sydney, and it’s absolutely worth reserving a table in advance.
Great food and atmosphere. The staff are really knowledgeable about the food and wine and are super friendly. They also have some great deals on certain days.
Very good service by friendly and accomodating staff, the food was great and served in a timely manner. Good family restaurant that we will return to again!
The restaurant was clean the food was very good with a good selection and the staff were helpful. I would go back to the restaurant again.
Excellent food and service. Waiters were so nice and very helpful explaining the menu. Place is a bit noisy with tiled floor but that's life!
I brought my wife here for her birthday dinner and it was amazing. Traditional Italian menu, nice family vibe with an intimate atmosphere. The food is second to none. (I recommend the bufalina pizza) But greatest of all was the service. Our waitress always kept an eye out to see if we needed anything and always had a smile. I mentioned it was my wife's birthday and they made a special dessert with the waitress, chef and manager. I've never had such an experience like that before. Perfect from start to finish. My wife wouldn't stop raving about it.
Bacco Re has beautiful authentic Italian food, wood fire pizzas are to die for… Great atmosphere, decent selection of cocktails and wine. And for desert, try the Tiramisu you won’t be disappointed..

The owners, of the restaurant, are always around and play an active role in ensuring that customers enjoy the atmosphere and the overall experience. A visit is very highly recommended.
FOOD WAS GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY. I WOULD DEFINITELY RETURN. ONLY NEGATIVE WAS THE MAIN MALE TEAM MEMBER, DIDNT SMILE ONCE, NOT EVEN WHEN I PAID WITH A TIP.
