Fantastic tasty food & great service - a gem of a place

came as it was recommended to us. Our calamari was overcooked and tough to eat, the steak, while tender had sinew which also make it difficult to eat. The flavours were delightful and the service excellent, but don't think the food was value for money.

Quite possibly THE BEST Chinese cuisine we’ve ever had. We had the smaller of the 2 banquets on offer, and we wish we had a main course size of every course. The staff are fantastic and the place looks and feels like a well oiled machine, with minimal/no intrusion on their guests. Thank you Bamboo House! 😁💕

Very accommodating and great restaurant for catching up with work friends

Food was good, but we had the most surly server on the planet. After a certain point he ignored us completely. We waited a long time for the check, after twice indicating that we didn’t want dessert. We had to call the server over to ask for the check. After that, a long wait for him to come and make the payment. We gave up and asked the host to cash us out.

Food excellent had cheaper banquet but plenty of good food. Meal well staggered. Staff were sharp.

Always great to dine here. Will be back for sure.

We love Bamboo House. Especially the peking duck, oysters and the dumplings.

Amazing food at an amazing price. It never disappoints. You will walk out full, and satisfied. It’s definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants in town. Favourite dishes: salted egg prawn, Peking duck, egg whites with scallops.

Bamboo House is our favourite pre-Christmas restaurant. The service is excellent, food superb and good value for money.

Very noisy; still if you choose to dine at Friday lunchtime you will get noise. The food was spectacular and service was good.
