Bamiyan Restaurant - Baulkham Hills

Our first experience trying an Afghani cuisine and was absolutely thrilled at the flavours. The food was delicious. The service was fantastic, if anything was probably asked too many times if were enjoying ourselves. Otherwise, great location and a beautiful meal to introduce us to such delicious food.

Food tasty. Service good. A little noisy. More people than we expected but tables set apart.

This was second visit, did not disappoint, will return soon

Service could have been a bit faster, I think there was a lack of wait staff and many tables had to wait for their orders. Otherwise food was excellent.

Understaffed!!! FOR A SATURDAY NIGHT ESPECIALLY. I MAY NOT VISIT during peak times again just because of the really long wait for food to arrive. We had to ask for the drinks menu (wasn't even offered). 3 Places did not have knives; forks only!! My family couldn't be bothered to ask since everything took so long. We loved the food as always. But will seriously reconsider next time.

Dumplings were amazing as was the kofta. Staff were friendly. Definatley recommend this restaurant and will be coming back!

The service was terrible, the 3 waitress were more interested in their phones & talking to each other than serving us. Everything seem to be a hassle for them. It's a shame because the food was amazing but I wouldn't bother going back.

Service was friendly. Portion sizes were a little small but were very good. Did not have to wait long for the food to be delivered to the table. Their orange and almond rice was delicious. My guests were very happy. This is the second time that I have been to this restaurant. I'll be coming again.

Booking was easy and the wait staff were really good. Was a bit disappointed when our entrees were served cold. The entrees were replaced and were fine. The main was beautifully tender. We had to wait a bit longer than we thought we should. The atmosphere was pleasant overall and I would go again certainly.

Have been here quite a few times. The food is always fantastic but unfortunately went this time on a Friday night and service was very slow. Waited for a very long time between entrée and main. Asked a few times when food was coming but this didn't seem to hurry things up at all...........

We had the Banquet #2 - great value. The food was fresh and delicious. We topped the meal with the pistacchio icecream - what a treat. The very 1st restaurant my fussy husband has said - awesome experience - we will definitely be back.

The food was supremely delicious. I love these flavours! Our waiter helped us choose a delicious entree and 2 mains with naan. It was good value and we will definitely be back!

The service was awful. Based on this experience it should rate a ZERO...... This was not my first visit to this restaurant. I took my party here because the first experience was great. Unfortunately this time it was absolutely awful. The service was poor. Some of the food was cold. 15minutes to be seated. We had reservations and no people queued to be seated in front of us. 20minutes before anyone asked about our order. 30minutes before entrees were served. after finishing entrees, 40 minutes before mains were served. 40 minutes later I had to ask for desert & coffee. 15 minutes later nothing arrived, We paid our bill, complained to the staff and we left. Based on this experience, it is unlikely we will return, nor will we recommend this restaurant to others. DISSAPPOINTING.......

Wonderful service and a lovely meal ☺ The food was so flavoursome especially the tika chicken and dumpings. Cant wait to introduce more family and friends to this amazing place

What a wonderful place to eat! We had so many delicious dishes (banquet is a must) if you haven't tried Afghan food you need to. We will be coming back very soon. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Wonderful food!! The banquet was perfect! Will definitely be back with the family. Loved the dumplings especially. What a great addition to Norwest. Highly recommended.

This place is way overpriced. Food was delicious, though. And byo always helps. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. But $36 p/p for the basic banquet was ridiculous. Won't return.

Fantastic food and great service. We had lots of lovely dishes to eat - their food is so delicious - love the Bamiyan at Baulkham Hills. Will certainly be back!

First visit to an Afghan restaurant and i must say i enjoyed the food tremendously. The staff was friendly and service was good. Will definitely go back.
