Showing off the bold flavours of Thailand inside of Singapore’s beloved Great World City, Bangkok Jam serves a lengthy menu of classic Southeast Asian specialities to a clientele of gourmets, River Valley shoppers and adventurous diners. Found on Kim Seng Promenade in the city’s central business district, the restaurant inside of Great World City shopping centre is conveniently located near Orchard and Tiong Bahru MRT stations.
Simply put, the Thai cuisine doesn’t get much better than at Bangkok Jam in Singapore’s Great World City, a mall in the River Valley area. We know – it seems unreal that a Thai restaurant in a shopping centre could be so delicious, but it really is! You’ll love the restaurant’s sophisticated atmosphere, and with opening hours from every day of the week, you’re sure to come back again and again.
On Kim Seng Promenade in RIver Valley, precisely Singapore’s Great World City, Bangkok Jam’s talented chefs are whipping up some of the area’s finest Thai specialities. Favourite dishes include the Thai-style grilled squid, the stir-fried egg noodles with stewed pork curry, the papaya pad Thai with shrimps and the Thai massaman curry with New Zealand beef and hom mali rice. The desserts are particularly good here – go for the banana tempura topped with hot caramel sauce for a unique and flavourful end to your meal. Make sure to book in advance for a table at Bangkok Jam in Great World City.
We had an excellent experience. The staff served us very well & made us feel very welcome. The food was just great. We will go back again for sure.
very good experience, food was nice, waiting time is ok, we went on an evening for a dinner, everything ok
Enjoyed the food! I like the set lunch. Nice deco and great and helpful staff. Hope to go back to this restaurant again some day.
We had a group of 9. Staff were friendly and courteous and served the food rather promptly. Food were reasonably priced and tastes nice. Comfortable restaurant for big group gatherings!
Reasonably priced food with a pretty wide variety of food choices. I appreciate the option of topping up the mains with rice to make it a meal, and to be able to tweak the level of spiciness. However, the taste of the food has definitely been altered to suit a less adventurous palate and most of the food tasted more sweet spicy.
Somehow I feel that the food in the Great World City is better than the other outlets. The staff are a little lost. I wasnt able to use my credit card nor NETS to pay for the bill. In the end, I had to pay using cash.
Very poor service. I had to wait for 10 mins even after reserving my table much in advance. The lemongrass drink that I asked was just a sugary drink with some lemongrass fragrance & it was nothing like they have shown in picture. When asked, the waitress said that they were out of the fruits. No water was not served until asked & neither was table set. Pineapple rice was disaster. Other than that food was good. Green chicken curry was unexpectedly good. Would not recommend this place.
Food is very good, especially the chicken wings, Kai Lan with roasted pork and the minced meat dish. The tapioca dessert and fried bananas are very good too. Friendly staff and good ambience.
The food overall was above average. Some of the serving size are a bit small. The service in general was good, but not attentive as the staff tended to talk among themselves as opposed to walk around
Food is great as usual, just that som tum was a little over saucy and sweet. But everything else was good like green curry, and grilled chicken!
