Beginning as a small florist back in 2002, Bar Mia has evolved tremendously over the years and is proud to continue serving locals from all across Sydney. Both a flower shop and a pizza restaurant, this family-run establishment in Bellevue Hill consistently impresses diners with their friendly attitude, delectable pizzas and lovely atmosphere. Using dough that rises over a two-day period, the pizzas feel light and airy, with just the perfect amount of elasticity and crispness. Plus, the dough is made from either organic spelt or multigrain flour, for all the health nuts out there. One of our favourite pizzas would have to be the porchetta e porcini, a pie topped with pomodoro, mozzarella, homemade oven-roasted pork, porcini and parmigiano. All of the pastas are also fantastic, especially the traditional lasagna and the homemade spinach and ricotta cannelloni.
