Eating out in Sydney is always a good idea, and Asian food is certainly a strongpoint of the city’s culinary scene. There are superb restaurants on both the north and south of the bay, and in Crows Nest one can find Bay Tinh, a Vietnamese restaurant of some renown. Its location – directly where Falcon Street meets the Pacific Highway – is easy to get to from all over the North Shore, and its food selection is grounds enough to make the journey, taking in meat, fish, seafood and vegetarian dishes.
Delicious food. Friendly, helpful service. Almost all gluten free so fantastic for coeliacs. We will definitely return to work our way through the extensive menu.
Wonderful dinner with friends. The food was excellent, as always, and the service attentive. We enjoy this restaurant very much and recommend it with enthusiasm.
Always a pleasant experience at Bay Tinh. Delicious food, though we perhaps over ordered on meaty dishes this time round. Always love the crispy pancake and the pork skewers though.
Finding oneself a Vietnamese meal is never difficult in Sydney, but the standard can sometimes be variable at best: which is why the locals up on the North Shore in Crows Nest are happy that they have Bay Tinh. The restaurant offers Saigon and Southern Vietnamese specialities from its location on Falcon Street, close to the meeting with Pacific Highway, and its menu is packed with superb dishes, which are best shared across a group of your mates.
