Beijing Impression in Haymarket offers up arguably the finest Chinese dining experience in all of Sydney. Located within the stylish 1909 Dining Precinct in Haymarket’s Market City, this spacious restaurant takes each and every one of its diners on a culinary journey to Northern China. The menu perfectly blends the region’s famous sweet and savoury flavours and the restaurant’s Peking duck dish undoubtedly serves as the main attraction. Prepared over the course of two days, the duck can be enjoyed three ways such as braised in a sensational broth with glass noodles. Those looking to try something a little different should look no further than the eatery’s fish head juice pancakes, which are a real treat. With a stunning interior design inspired by autumn in China, further adding to the sense of occasion, eating out at Beijing Impression on Hay Street should be at the top of everyone’s wishlists!
Food is just ok and the price is on the expensive side.
Made reservations online but when arrived at the restaurant was told that they only take walk-in customers. There were at least 30 people waiting for a table. Told me to take a queue number or nothing they can do about it. No explanation or apology. We left. What a waste of time.
The Peking Duck was a joke. Have no idea why did the desserts come to the table first.Everything was disappointed. We won’t go back again!
