Easy access, staff were efficient in their roles, food was good, time between ordering and getting food was pretty quick. Overall a good experience with no fuss and no drama.
Great pizza, wine. Average pasta, but amazing atmosphere and excellent service still made it a worthwhile dining experience

At Perth’s Bistro Bellavista, a simple yet pleasing dining space allows all the more focus on the excellent Italian and Mediterranean food that is being served. Find this popular little restaurant on Bennett Street in East Perth – just opposite the east side of Wellington Square – and be engrossed by the feeling of family that’s floating about the place. This is a spot that’s fit for all occasions and one where you will always be appreciated and made to feel welcome. You know what we mean, one of those charming little restaurants that just feels like a part of its community. Like it has always been there and will never go away. Just lovely, if you ask us.
Begin your meal with some glorious antipasti, then move onto some pizza, pasta or secondi piatti. We love the spaghetti with sauteed blue swimmer crab, onions, chilli and garlic, as well as the homemade potato gnocchi cooked in gorgonzola sauce with a touch of tomato. The pizzas are some of the best in Perth and come with classic toppings as well as some slightly more gourmet – the pizza agnello with braised lamb, caramelised onions, feta, pine nuts and mint yoghurt being our pick of the bunch. If you’re feeling like meat, however, then of course we wouldn’t be in East Perth without some parmigiana. Bistro Bellavista’s take is a crumbed chicken breast topped with napoletana sauce and bocconcini. If you like Italian and Mediterranean food, Bistro Bellavista is your place to go in Perth. That’s all there is to it.
