At Perth’s Bistro Bellavista, a simple yet pleasing dining space allows all the more focus on the excellent Italian and Mediterranean food that is being served. Find this popular little restaurant on Bennett Street in East Perth – just opposite the east side of Wellington Square – and be engrossed by the feeling of family that’s floating about the place. This is a spot that’s fit for all occasions and one where you will always be appreciated and made to feel welcome. You know what we mean, one of those charming little restaurants that just feels like a part of its community. Like it has always been there and will never go away. Just lovely, if you ask us.
Begin your meal with some glorious antipasti, then move onto some pizza, pasta or secondi piatti. We love the spaghetti with sauteed blue swimmer crab, onions, chilli and garlic, as well as the homemade potato gnocchi cooked in gorgonzola sauce with a touch of tomato. The pizzas are some of the best in Perth and come with classic toppings as well as some slightly more gourmet – the pizza agnello with braised lamb, caramelised onions, feta, pine nuts and mint yoghurt being our pick of the bunch. If you’re feeling like meat, however, then of course we wouldn’t be in East Perth without some parmigiana. Bistro Bellavista’s take is a crumbed chicken breast topped with napoletana sauce and bocconcini. If you like Italian and Mediterranean food, Bistro Bellavista is your place to go in Perth. That’s all there is to it.
It was very easy to make a booking online. The service was of a very good standard. The portion sizes of the food was perfect and the food was very tasty. Would come back again.
From the moment we arrived to when we departed the service was fantastic! Food was very tasty and reasonably priced, will definitely be going back again!
doesn't get a by better than this. great service & food.
we tried something different this time & discovered another favourite. spaghetti meatballs. simply delicious. the service was excellent as usual .
We had a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant was very clean & the staff very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and authentic Italian. We would highly recommend Bistro Bellavista & would definitely dine here again next time we visited Perth.
The atmosphere was buzzing on Saturday night. WE were promptly taken to our table and attended to in a timely manner. We ordered the croquettes for entree and they were really delicious. We ordered a seafood marinara and a grilled steak for mains, The Seafood marinara was a generous portion and tasty . The steak was not tender and the sauce reduction on top was bland. I've had much better steaks done at a local pub. A chef shouldn't have any problems cooking a sirloin steak! Not a bad place for a night out with quite reasonable prices however we prefer the Antico Restaurant which not too far from the Bistro Bella Vista and head there next time.
We had an enjoyable family dinner at Bistro Bellavista. They were accommodating regarding enquiries about bringing a cake to be served at the restaurant. The food was good Italian cooking. The atmosphere in the restaurant was lively and fun. Thankyou for providing a lovely family dining experience.
Food well presented. Nice Italian setting and the wine was amazing (Frappato). We had a three course meal that was 5 star quality. I had to drive home with unbuttoned pants. Staff were very polite and friendly. Coffee, better than most I've had in a while. We just didn't like that it's a bit louder than it needs to be, because the bar is connected next door, so it's bistro makes its a louder atmosphere. I love Bistro Bella vista for their woodfire pizza. Will always enjoy this place.
Polite and prompt service. The food was amazing!!! Only slight downfall that as it was Valentines Day there was a set menu which we were not aware of at the time of making and receiving confirmation of the booking. With that said the set menu was a great selection of dishes. The meals came out super quick (we had to ask for a break between main a desert). Overall was a lovely evening and we plan on going back when we can select from the usual/normal menu.
This was my first visit to Bistro Bellavista. I found it to be a great venue with a lovely atmosphere, excellent service and the food was delicious - Highly recommend this hidden gem!
