Staff were very friendly. The restaurant looks like there were plenty of tables spare but due to staff shortages, they dont book them which I think is a good decision. Food was good and arrived in a timely manner.

A Bit of a Letdown This Time I recently revisited a restaurant that I had thoroughly enjoyed on my previous visit. The last time I went there, everything—from the food to the service and the lively atmosphere—had been impressive. Naturally, I went in with high expectations this time, hoping for the same warm experience. Unfortunately, I left feeling a little disappointed, as the evening didn’t quite live up to the previous one. To begin with, the food was not as flavorful as before. The dishes we ordered were the same ones that had left us delighted on our last visit, yet somehow, the taste felt flat this time. The seasoning seemed uneven, and the freshness that once stood out was missing. The presentation was still good, but the soul of the dish—the balance of taste and aroma—just wasn’t there. For instance, the curry that used to have the perfect blend of spices tasted a little too bland, and the bread, which had been soft and perfectly baked before, was slightly chewy and not served warm. The service, too, seemed slower and less attentive. During our earlier visit, the staff had been cheerful, friendly, and quick to check in on us, but this time they appeared distracted and somewhat overwhelmed. It took longer than expected for our food to arrive, and even small requests, like refilling water or providing extra napkins, took repeated reminders. I could tell the team was trying, but the spark and attentiveness that make a dining experience memorable were missing. The ambiance, thankfully, still had its charm. The soft lighting, cozy decor, and music made the place feel welcoming. However, the noise level was higher than usual, which slightly disturbed the relaxed atmosphere. Maybe it was just a busy night, but I found it difficult to enjoy a proper conversation without raising my voice. Despite the overall disappointment, there were still a few positives worth mentioning. The desserts, for instance, were delicious—just as good as before. We tried the signature chocolate cake and a fruit tart, and both were perfectly balanced in sweetness and texture. That ending helped redeem the experience a little. The portion sizes were also generous, and the pricing remained fair for the quality and location. Overall, I would say the experience this time was “average” rather than “great.” It wasn’t terrible, but it also wasn’t memorable in the way it had been before. Maybe it was just an off day for the restaurant, or maybe the standards have slipped slightly. I still appreciate the place for what it offers, but it no longer feels like a must-visit spot. I hope the restaurant can return to the quality and warmth that made my first visit so enjoyable. With a little more consistency in taste and better service attention, it could easily reclaim its charm. For now, though, I’d say it was “not so good as last time.”

Fast service, had the prawn pizza, papadelle and pannacotta good parking

Was seated in the private dining room which was nice and relaxed. Owner was very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Split bill payment was allowed at the till which made it much easier for our group. Food was lovely too!

The three pizzas we ordered were actually quite good, but it really should not have taken over fifty minutes after we ordered for them to arrive. The place was mostly empty and the pizza kitchen area was clearly unmanned for most of the wait, so the platitudes we were offered about a rush of orders delaying the food and that it was being plated just then were disingenuous at best. I think the food is generally good, but gosh they must do something about tracking orders and actually getting the food served.

The five of us had dinner there to celebrate a birthday. Every pizza we ordered was excellent, and there was a good selection of vegetarian options.

Good portion of meals at A reasonable price. Quite a choice of food from regular and specials menu.

Average not as good as it used to be unfortunately.

Pizza was amazing.. the only problem is it is very expensive $30 and especially the dessert. We ordered a Pannacotta ($15) and it was a tiny one for that amount of money we paid. That is very disappointing. Lucky we ordered only 1 . the rest of us did not want to spend that much money on a small dessert. So we went elsewhere to satisfy our sweet tooth

I had dinner here with my best friend to celebrate her birthday. The delightful waitress was very accommodating about us needing to go dessert first! We had a lovely time chatting over the wine and delicious food.

This place is a favourite for my family! The food is consistently good, the service can sometimes be slow when it is heaving with diners but always friendly.
