About Bombay Barn

We know as well as you do that few places in the UK are short of good Indian restaurants. You could even say many of them crowd each other out and for one to stand out from that crowd, it has to do something special. Bombay Barn in Washington, we are happy to report, is something special. It takes ingredients from all over the subcontinent to bring flavours not just from India but from Bangladesh, Pakistan and Nepal, all under one roof on Cooperative Terrace in Concord. On the menu, then, diners can expect all the curry house classics as well as some chef’s specialities that surpass the norm. To point you in the right direction, a few of many highlights from the a la carte include the Jaipur, the mild lamb Rani as well as the fiery naga murgh (proceed with caution). Reserve a table now!

Easy booking on line. Great variety of choice. Excellent service. All courses were perfectly cooked and delicious. The Lamb Dupiaza was faultless with loads of onions (which I love !) and the lamb just fell apart. Alan said the same about his Lamb Madras. Also, best chapatis he's ever had ! Fantastic value for money. First time there....we'll be back and also, give the take-away menu a try.

Great Indian food, reasonably priced, staff are very professional and friendly. In my opinion this is the best Indian restaurant in Washington by a long way

Very easy to book online, we were seated and served quickly. We had the special as we were there before 6:30. Food was lovely and we left very full.

The area that this restaurant is in did not feel safe. After driving to it, we decided not to stay as we did not feel it was a safe place to park the car.
