The British is just a great pub with good food and great staff very much a favourite of mine and a plus is the location
I dined with my daughter using a voucher won through work. We intend on coming with the rest of our family soon. Good family atmosphere.
Very nice food. We ordered steaks and they are perfectly done. This is my third time thereunder will definitely going back again. But staffs there are not very friendly.
Really lovely evening, sharing my son's birthday with family. Great food. Choices for my vegetarian daughter. Great service. Relaxed, warm space. Thank you for a lovely night. Leah
The service was good but the best was yet to come - the steak was the best I have had for ages. definitely will be back again!
A little noisy however you expect that at a pub. Food was honest and nicely presented. Staff were accomodating and friendly. Food could have been a little warmer. Kangaroo however cooked to perfection.
All five in our party rated their food as excellent. Good choice of wines. Overall experience was great. Prices were reasonable and service prompt and pleasant.
Friendly staff and good service. A pub that is that litle bit quirky in a nice way. A great place to eat and enjoy the atmosphere.
Good with meat not good with marinara or curry. Will go back as it has a good atmosphere with friendly staff and easy for parking and prices.
We all found the evening very enjoyable, with a lovely venue on a cold winters nights and great food and service to round out the evening
Great old world atmosphere. Open fire in two rooms with leather easy chairs. Bright open dining area. Great food and service. Will definately go again
The food was really good! I was a bit disappointed that they ran out of popcorn chicken though :( Staff were really nice and helpful.
Good pub food nice atmospere. I had tea smoked duck which was overcooked but everyone else had nice food especially the pork belly. Will go again to give benefit of doubt
Table available on arrival at designated time. Became rather noisy and difficult to hear our table guests once the room filled with patrons. Meal was well presented and satisfactory.
No table service for drinks or food which works ok but could be more helpful in less busy times given they were standing around chatting to kitchen staff.
Disappointing service, long wait time, average food. That's not why we go out to eat. Would have been able to cook the same quality at home, and it wpuldnt have takeb so long to order
Nice atmosphere but very small with minimal seating available in bar area. Drinks expensive. Meal was nice, chose the Pub Favourites but still relatively pricey.
Beef was great as was the pork cut cutlet. Green beans need to be cooked longer. Waitress service was friendly and not too over zelous
Meals are at higher end price wise with sides costing extra. Counter service was offhand bordering on rude. Bar service was not much better. Smallish Pork chop on sweet potato mash (soup consistency) was very ordinary. 😔
