Equally as popular with locals as it is with members of the club, Bulimba Golf Club’s restaurant serves up modern Australian cuisine and refined bistro-style classics, in a stunning setting on Quay Street, close to the Brisbane River. Whether you’re looking for somewhere special to take a business client for lunch, want to fuel up after a day spent on the course, or are just looking to escape the bustle of Brisbane and unwind surrounded by greenery. Some of our favourite dishes include the roasted pork loin with spiced pumpkin puree, crushed potato, steamed beans and mustard cream sauce, the homemade beef burger served with fries and aioli, and the pan-seared salmon with sauteed potato gnocchi, charred asparagus and pickled fennel with tomato herb vinaigrette. Attracting guests from all over Brisbane, spaces at Bulimba Golf Club’s restaurant can fill up quickly. Book a table in advance to avoid missing out!
EXCELLENT PLACE TO EAT AND TAKE THE FAMILY . THE FOOD QUALITY IS GOOD AND THE PORTIONS ARE GENEROUS. I EAT THERE REGULARLY WITH MY GOLF FRIENDS
The golf course has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Our food came quickly and was tasty. We would also rate it good value for money. Prices at the bar are very reasonable.
Fantastic venue for both children and adults. Sunday has a wonderful vibe plus a jumping castle for the children, music, lots of outdoor space, food and drinks. Thank you Bulimba Golf Club 😊
WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR NIGHT, AS WE HAVE LOTS OF CHILDREN IN THE FAMILY THE AREA SUITED US BECAUSE THE CHILDREN COULD PLAY AND THERE WAS ALSO A JUMPING CASTLE WHICH THEY ALSO ENJOYED. WE WERE ALL HAPPY WITH THE FOOD AND SERVICE, LOTS OF VARIETY. THE STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY TOO. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. WE WILL DEFINATELY GO BACK AGAIN. REGARDS LINDA
If you are a Coeliac and you are going to dine there you really need to ask how the GF listed items on the menu are prepared. Went to a Tribute Show on 12.05.18 - they had a Menu done for the show with a number of GF listed items - we looked at these and as we were making a night of it thought we're onto this, WRONG ! Checked with staff as to how the Entrée chips were cooked - cooked with the other normal fried food. According to staff everywhere does this, cooks GF food with non-GF fried food. Pointed out this was for a Coeliac and the immediate response is "No, not suitable for a Coeliac". When will the hospitality industry learn - when you list food as GF we shouldn't need to ask, we should have confidence that GF is what is stands for - "GLUTEN FREE". Bulimba Golf Club staff have not learnt this.
An enjoyable day was had by every person on my table of ten. There were umbrellas available to protect from the sun and the staff were happy to assist in any way possible. Due to live entertainment happening on the day the Bulimba Golf club had preemtped the amount of people and staffed the bar and bistro accordingly. Look forward to my next visit.
The restaurant situation was good looking on to the gold course on a lovely barmy night. Food was just ok my Chicken Parmigiana as a bit dry and the salad was all leaves with 2 cherry tomatoes cut in half.
A little overpriced. Much better last year when run by happy-go-lucky volunteers. Quite tasty food. Really loved the band - easy to listen to and great range of songs.
Very friendly staff and patrons. Food was excellent , alcohol normal bar prices unless you are a member. Great venue for a band and dancing the night away.
Nice simple menu...something for everyone. Generous servings too. Relaxed easy atmosphere. Keen to return with a group of friends for a laid back night. Thanks
