Cafe63 - Sandgate

Pleasant location near the water. The meals are generous sized and tasty. The service is great.

This cafe is very average. The service and cooking would have to improve a great deal for me to return.

Food was nice but the service was slow. We went for mother’s day and it wasn’t terribly busy but seemed to take ages to get served and then they never came back to check if we wanted anything else. Tried to get waitress attention and she looked at us then just kept walking.

Great service, good atmosphere, good food and great coffee. A great position opposite the pond to enjoy breakfast/lunch.

Tea cold, sent it back, second cup Luke warm. Coffee, ordered extra hot, arrived Luke warm. Breakfast order. Luke warm.

Staff where great, very friendly. Will go back again 👍

This was my first dining experience at any of the Cafe63 establishments. I won’t be going back, but don’t let that deter you if you want something simple with no fuss. The menu has many options for breakfast for those that don’t know what they feel like, and it is well priced. The service was good, the atmosphere felt like a pop up cafe- but it did have a nice view across the road of a park though. The coffee was fine and the food was average.

Nice food, and good coffee, bit of a unorganised store though. Was told by the first girl they didn't know about my booking. But got a table anyway.

we had an early lunch with two small children. Paper and colouring-in pencils were produced straight away and the staff, who were lovely, were very patient with the length it took to wrangle a decision out of the kids about what to eat. (And to make a decision ourselves actually - there is such a choice!) All the food was fine in terms of 'cafe dining', the only little disappointment being the garlic bread, which was just slices of white bread garlic butter, slightly warmed.

Great service, great food, huge menu, best value for money, love the extras menu. Only downside the pork belly didn’t have crackle and that’s the only reason I ordered it.

Food delicious, however, disappointed meals ordered for children were delivered last. One guest received wrong order, but, on request this was corrected whuch was appreciated.

We were taken aback to be seated with others in an aisle at the shopping centre. Staff were obliging. Food was fine except for the scrambled eggs bacon and mushrooms being combined as one presentation.

We had a very enjoyable Father's Day - great food and service on a very busy day. Our numbers changed a couple of times and I booked on line - virtually impossible to try and change the booking - by phone, I could only make an automatic new booking, re-confirming on mobile, had to be on line - couldn't send a text to the number the reconfirmation came in on. I ended up driving there to change the numbers.

Showed up unclean table, but they quickly cleaned once arrived. Took ages for them to take our order, had to get their attention. Food was delicious.

Delicious food service s bit slow ,was fathers day staff were running between tables not their fault did I mention the delicious food. Was an enjoyable experience.

Steak was well over cooked and dry. Pork belly ribs had to much sauce on the plate. Staff were very friendly and drinks were perfect.

We enjoyed our lunch overall. Service could have been improved (faster) Fish was a little overcooked (salmon) and coffee should have been hotter. Would go back to try.

Generally I go to Cafe 63 at a different location and its great but last night at Sangate my experience wasnt that great. The ribs I ordered werent cooked properly and I had a high expectation like every other store. Customer service was good though. Recommend only going for breakfast not dinner.

Lovely place with nice, reasonably priced food and friendly staff. Disappointed that they didn't have gluten free bread, even though it is advertised, and didn't offer discount or alternative

I boked a group of 10 but 12 showed up. Another table was supplied to accommodate the extra people without a problem. The meals were colourful and varied and each person in the group expressed their pleasure on their meal. They were well presented and flavoursome with an ample amount. I especially liked the sweet and savoury options combined on the plate. I had the' Vancouver' - pancakes, bacon, yoghurt, raspberry fruit, strawberries and maple syrup. I asked for extra syrup after serving and was given an extra amount very willingly. The staff were friendly and very obliging with all our requests. We were very pleased with our breakfast gathering and will come again.

I booked a week out from my event only to be seated hidden behind the cash register table..the restaurant was only one quarter full of patrons so ample vacant tables with room for comfort. 7 enjoyed their meals .mine was below expected. Service was extremely slow. Have dined at several Café 63 venues and have been very happy. Not this time at Sandgate.

Terrible service. Forgot one of our meals which finally arrived after everyone else at the table had finished eating. No flexibility with menu and how meals are prepared.

Great service and friendly staff. Lovely place to go for a weekend breakfast. The food was reasonably priced and the coffee is made to perfection. We will be going there again.

A pleasant dining experience with tasty food and great coffee. I like the extra little touches such as the free bottle of water on arrival and leaving and the complimentary biscuit with your coffee. Pleasant staff members that are happy to serve you.

I really enjoyed the professional and friendly service. The coffee was lovely and fresh. And my selection from the menu for breakfast was excellent and I would purchase it again. Thank you for a fantastic breakfast experience

Nice location and good staff service at Cafe 63 Sandgate. Food was of a good standard and priced Appropriately utilising fresh produce. Coffee was average in comparison to other locations.

Friendly and vibrant atmosphere at Cafe 63 Sandgate. The staff were friendly and professional throughout my visit . The menu choices were abundant and the coffee was delicious Thankyou for a fantastic lunch.

The food was fantastic and plenty of it. The service was also fabulous. Would I eat there again,. HELL YEAH. I recommend this place just so much

Good quality food most of the time my guests food was excellent but mine even after replacement was burnt

I got a salad and lettuce was old and soggy. I got prawns that were not cooked fully and tasted funny. Everyone else's meals were good though :)

Lovely setting and location - a few language difficulties when placing orders - food excellent and service very good. Have been before and will come again for sure!

The service was lovely as was the food I always like their coffee. I booked a table on line which was a great way to this. The only criticism I have is they do not replenish the teaspoons in the basket on the table.

Staff appeared flustered, busy Saturday breakfast. Coffee machines in the way of customers - turn them 180 degrees. Service, food great. Good luck for future.

Breakfast meal nice. Coffee needed a bit more punch for my liking. Staff could be more attentive to the tables if offering this service, waited a good while to be served.
