Here at North Perth’s Chilli Orange, the menu is bristling with colourful modern Asian, Australian, and international foods Bet with confidence on the chef’s recommendations (the seared duck breast and scallops with grilled eggplant and Asian salad or the grilled swordfish), but be sure to begin with entrees like seared rare beef, fresh oysters, free-range Linley Valley pork belly matched with kimchi and more. This is a the perfect Perth Modern Asian restaurant to take a trip with.
Chilli Orange’s innovative dishes, courtesy of the exploratory modern Asian chops of head chef Anthony Truong, have been attracting the attention of Perth-based food critics and foodies in general. A main course of grilled MSA beef tenderloin steak, served with seared scallops, tempura mushrooms and a teriyaki and truffle oil sauce, or the free-range chicken breast comes stuffed with Asian mushrooms and lap cheong, are fantastic choices. Easy to reach from Fitzgerald Street and North Perth’s Angrove Street, Chilli Orange is one popular restaurant that you definitely need to reserve in advance!
Great food, great service, nice atmosphere. This is a little gem in Perth and I highly recommend it. We had 3 courses and everything was awesome.
The food was absolutely delicious, can't wait to go back and try other dishes! The staff were very friendly and attentive, also enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere
Our first time, here, and all agreed not our last. Fresh, quick and enjoyed by all. Sashimi salad are highlight with steak enjoyed by all.
Amazing food! Excellent service as well. Could not recommend more highly. We had the pork belly entree and steak main, both were incredible! Will keep coming back.
Chilli Orange is AHmazing! Service was spectacular, as soon as we walked through the door we were greeted by a lovely staff member who showed us to our table. The table and deco were very modern. Their menu was brilliant, everything sounded delicious and I wanted to try one of everything. But for entree I got the scallops served on top of mushrooms and they melter in my mouth, divine! Main meal I had the salmon with corn and I didn't want this dish to end. My salmon was cooked to perfection and the sauce that accompanied it was do die for. Didn't have dessert but next time I'm in, I will. 10/10 chilli orange.
This was my first visit to Chilli Orange. There is much to like - my pad thai was delicious, as was my mojito. The staff are friendly and super helpful and it's a nicely presented restaurant. There is just a little something missing - like being greeted at the door right on top of other diners, our food arriving before our first drink and what feels like being in everyone's way when you are seated in the middle aisle of tables. However all the other meals I saw going out looked delicious, it's a great stop-off before a gig at The Rosemount and the staff seem to genuinely care about your experience.
This is our second visit to Chilli Orange and it was just as good as the first time. The food and service are excellent. Chilli Orange is beginning to be our new 'favourite' restaurant.
My husband and I went here last Saturday night for our Wedding Anniversary. Service at the start was a bit slow and that is the only negative thing I could say. We started with a couple of glasses of bubbles, then had the duck pancakes and san choy bow both were delicious. Then, being hearty eaters we ordered 3 mains...seared duck breast, stir fry wok veges with tofu and the pan dried teriyaki salmon, all were delicious. Nothing was soaking in sauces, just the right amount. Had a lovely and reasonably (for a licenced premise) bottle of Jane Brook wine over dinner as well. Highly recommend and will definitely go back.
We went as a party of 6 and shared several entres and mains, food is always full of flavour, fresh and very generous servings. Staff are very attentive, the noise level can sometimes make conversations loud but overall love going to Chilli Orange,
Attentive, friendly staff; interesting & enticing menus with variety for every taste; prompt and precise service - zero wait for drinks and comfortably short breaks between courses - delicious fresh food, professionally prepared and served, & fair portions at 'real' prices...and we've just moved nearby! With over two decades experience in hospitality, I rate this evening as memorable for the dining experience and relaxed atmosphere. No hesitation: top marks; we'll return soon and, I'd say, often :-)
Chilli Orange serves fantastic food. There were 7 of us dining and each dish ordered was faultless. The soft shell crab and red curry duck were stand out dishes. Great service and lovely overall atmosphere. Thank you!
Shared 6 entrees. Scallops couldn't have been presented any better and were divine. Squid was beautifully tender and chilli sauce complemented perfectly. Crispy pork was very moreish and the Tempura kings a delight. Seared lamb cutlets took it to yet another level and last the seared rare beef tenderloin and trademark chilli orange & black bean sauce dressing. Finally, couldnt go past the Ginger crème brulee. What terrific combinations of flavours, textures and aromas... a very memorable, relaxing and enjoyable meal. Highly recommended.
We have loved this restaurant for about five years now (just guessing). Every time it has maintained the same excellent standards. We just love the fresh flavours. Husband went into raptures over his Scotch Fillet and I adored my Swordfish, cooked just right and not overdone. Husband had a Chocolate Lava Cake which I sampled - it was nice and light with a touch of decadence.
We had a very enjoyable meal here tonight. Three entres between 4. The lamb cutlets were cooked to perfection. No swordfish but N.W. Ocean Barramundi instead. Beautifully cooked with a salad so fresh. Pad Thai to share and a chicken vegetable stir fry. (All shared between four) Very full after all of this and it was certainly value for money. Service was great, helpful and attentive.
The food was absolutely delicious and the staff very efficient and attentive. We chose to celebrate a birthday dinner at Chilli Orange knowing it would be loved and enjoyed by all.
Ambience was excellent, service great. Food, well presented but overall lacking in taste. The duck pancakes for starters were rather bland, however the salt and pepper squid was well textured with a great dipping sauce. Mains were of adequate size and again looked great on the plate. No one raved about their respective dish. The salmon was disappointing, cooked well, had too much soy sauce with overabundance of sweet corn and not much else. We left relatively satisfied with the experience but with no commitment to return or refer to our friends.
Chilli Orange is a beautiful place so nice & cosy. The service was very good & DELICIOUS food. Will be coming back for sure!!! We ALL loved it!!!
Food was excellent with plenty of variety on offer. Waitstaff were really good and overall I would recommend Chilli Orange to anyone looking for a good meal out.
Chilli Orange has amazing food and cocktails! And the wine list is impressive. Really good prices for excellent quality. Nice ambience too. We will definitely return.
Great food, great service in a warm cozy atmosphere. The wine that was recommended was really nice, couldn't fault the service. This was our first time at this little gem, but won't be our last. The price is at the top end, however it is well worth it, good food and we had no room for dessert..... maybe next time.
