We had a teenage birthday dinner for 9 girls. We had attentive service and the manager on duty was only too happy to please to make sure everyone had an enjoyable time. We booked ahead which helped.
Amazing and delicious food and we had an amazing night.
Excellent place to be there. Good team of people there
First visit to Crinitis at Castle Hill. The food and service were excellent, and the surroundings had good ambience. However it did become quite noisy inside.
We couldn't sit outside where we preferred as the gas heaters were not working so sat inside with everyone else and it was so loud you couldn't have a conversation at a small table for 5. We had 3 attempts at ordering a tea off the menu, they actually had the third option. 2 people had entrees and were still eating them when mains were brought out and dumped in front of us, our $60 (cheapest red on the menu) bottle of wine was dumped unopened with glasses we had to get replaced due to them being sticky on the outside. The waitress was very bored and the pained look on her face each time she came out of the kitchen was depressing. The waitress who actually took our order was bright and bubbly but doesn't know her menu as we ordered a mediteranean salad which has iceberg lettuce and white wine vinegar and when querried once we received mixed lettuce and balsamic dressing she told us only the ceasar had iceberg. Couldn't be bothered arguing. The food was the same standard and the usually expensive price for what it is and the waitstaff could do with more training and personality. Our most disappointing visit yet to Crinitis as usually staff are very attentive and happy.
We were there at 9:15pm and we got asked to sit inside or outside, we decided to sit inside and there were a lot of tables opened but we got put between two other people on each side. We ask if we can sit somewhere else and we were told no we have to sit wherr tjey put us basically... The whole time we could hear other peoples conversations- and it wasn’t pleasant. I also asked for more lemon for my coke as the slice i had had almost had none of the fruit on it for my coke- it was never brought. We had to grab someone’s attention to to make a order... the service was horrible- no one cared or checked on us and im not sure if it because there were skeleton staff or the hour of the night. Every customer matters and the level of effort needs to be put in with everone! Over priced for the lack of service- very dissapointing! Hopefully you don’t serve someone that will have to rate you on a serious level... Hopefully you guys can learn from this, build the team to be better and serve with a smile and positive attitude. Thanks
Where great Italian food and service goes to die. Criniti's is a popular and almost always packed out restaurant for reasons nobody knows, but I was determined to find. It is safe to say when it comes to decor the place is saturated with Italian pop culture references, an A+ on that front (especially if you are the self obsessed instagramer type). The menu.. oh boy, if the popular saying of "less is more" bares any truth, then I guess the owners threw that notion straight out the window. Leave at least a half hour to attempt to navigate this monstrosity... And when you finally are ready to order, well I hope you recently binge watched Man vs Wild because your skills in flagging the attention of a hovering waiter are required to be on point. When the food does arrive.. expect missing dishes, missing ingredients, food that is generally over cooked and served in very large quantities. In direct alignment to their menu, the owners here have also chosen to pursue quantity over quality. So, would I recommend Criniti's. Yes 100%, Crinits is a right of passage; which anyone embarking on their Italian food journey should take. In order to fully value and understand the qualities of good Italian cuisine one must first have a reference point on what is bad. My feedback to the owners of the chain would be to show the same pride that you take in fitting out the restaurant and apply it to your service standards, the simplification of your menu, and the quality control in your food preparation.
Right from arriving at the restaurant booking in seemed slow and totally disorganised took some time before we were guided to our pre-booked seat. Very noisy. Ordering was quick but the food took some time. Our bread turned up slightly burnt and very small pieces. Main was tasty but felt it unfair that everything comes with chips and you have to pay extra for healthier options but still have to have the chips with the meal. Would have been happier to pay a couple of dollars more for a salad and not have to have the chips with the meal. Dessert what can I say. We ordered the minute our main was taken, after half an hour asked a waitress (not easy to get the attention of) how long it would be, she went off not to be seen again. Still no food after 40 minutes a waitress then turned up to tell us that there was no Panna Cotta would we like something else , declined as we had waited so long had lost appetite for it and who knows how long it would turn up. Table next to us seemed to have quicker service. Always wanted to try restaurant would never go back. Overpriced for food and service.
We had excellent service & food. So many vegetarian/ vegan options have been added since our last visit. We celebrated our kid’s birthday. They did a special birthday song making the day even more special. The lady taking our order was really nice, cheerful, really helpful in choosing dishes & had an excellent memory....!! We all had a great time. Highly recommend a visit.
I always order the same thing each time I visit . This time round my Caesar Salad Appeared smaller in portion and slightly soggy , so I don’t think I will be getting that again. My red wine came out in what appears to look like Plastic wine glasses where in the past I always had my wine served in the proper wine glasses . I wanted to say something but I didn’t . I would expect that from a RSL , not this place . Other than that my pizza was great .
