David's Hotpot - Point Cook

Hot pot soup was nice. Didn’t know what half the stuff was that we were grabbing due to lack of signs. Keeping the tofu and veggies in the same fridge as the seafood allowed the tofu to absorb the smell of the fish next to it and same with the veg. One strange interaction with the staff as we weren’t allowed to leave the restaurant with our cans of Coke that we paid for ? They seemed happy for us to pay $240 for the meals but can’t leave with a can of coke ? It just made this awkward and really unnecessary. Food was ok definitely won’t be coming here again.

Good as always. Lots of varieties to choose from and many drinks as well.

Tables and chairs were too close together for families of more than 4. A bit more spaces would be ideal. Mushroom soup was excellent. Meat fresh. Dumplings a bit dry however tasty. Will definitely visit again.

Friends I invited to this dinner had a good time in the restaurant.

The staff are very friendly and the food serving time is like speeding Gonzalez.

First time come back when they changed the dining experience to buffet, much better and lots more variety plus ice cream! Love it definitely return now… good value and taste good!

Very nice hotpot. I ordered pork bone soup and tom yum soup, both are so tasty. Lot of variety on the buffet. Worth it!!! Will go again and again 🥰

Arrived on time, there is no waiting time literally, straight into restaurant. The service was great and staff are friendly, a lot of food options and free drinks provided, definitely will revisit.

Did like everything we got a bit expensive $280 for 3 people I felt it was for how much we got. But still great experience. Wishing for more variety in the menu but did like the more traditional options.

I think its Too expensive for hotpot, taste soso nothing special.

The food and service were mediocre, however, they charge a 6yo kid with dipping sauce station fee, as if 6yo would go get any sauces for their food, they didn't even eat hotpot. Not impressed.

Good first hot pot experience. Perfect dish for a family to sit down and enjoy a meal together. Was unsure initially how to go about the ordering process especially with the accompaniments which are kept separately on the side which you have to pay for. We started adding all our meats/veggies to the soup as soon as the soup was heated up. I think we should have gone slow and added as we ate. Just got too excited by the experience. Will go back again more prepared this time.
