Thankfully for those in Craigieburn, in Desi Darbar they have a restaurant right on Grand Boulevard that focuses on the lesser known dishes and street-food staples of South Asian cuisine. Their delicious doha are ideal for a filling, healthy lunch, their range of curries touches on several that you’ll struggle to find elsewhere (we recommend the bright but creamy tava chicken, the house specialty) and Desi Darbar’s selection of authentic Indian sweet treats is too enticing to put into words. Just go there and see for yourself – but make sure you book first, because they do a roaring trade and you won’t want to wait for a table once you catch the scent.
