The new kid on the block is none other than Hawaiian-inspired fusion restaurant Don Ho, brought to you by the Social Summer Kitchen group – the same team responsible for poké bar Loloku next door. Chef Shiman Woon infuses elements of east and west in items like pork cheeks char siew sliders and freshly shucked oysters dressed in a ponzu vinaigrette. You’ll find these influences in the creative cocktail menu too, with concoctions made from ingredients such as chipotle, tamarind and green tea powder. Gather your friends for an intimate dining experience over small plates or sharing platters at this exciting fusion concept restaurant, a short walk from both Outram Park and Chinatown MRT stations in Singapore. Just delicious! Cool atmosphere! Great cocktails. 6 plates for 2 pax are enough and add a nice dessert. Chocolate pudding is a must have !

The crispy eggplant is a must order dish. Love the vibe of the restaurant. Not my first time there and service is always fantastic from the friendly staff.

Food & drinks great but we were a little let down by service. We found staff were not really helpful, we had to ask for a lot of items and when we had questions they were quite dismissive. At one point the waiter shrugged and rolled his eyes when we asked a question. We were very relaxed and in good spirits - we weren't being demanding, just asking for guidance on what would be best for our group or recommendations for items that suited 5 people. The waiter directed us to the top of the menu where it says '3 dishes per person'. We had to prompt on each item for size, whether it was good to share amongst 5 or whether we needed a couple of dishes of that type. In the end we enjoyed the food that came out and we would be writing a wonderful review if the service matched - all we needed was a bit of enthusiasm and we would have been really satisfied!

Great food. Some elements of the service was a little slow. We sat a long time waiting for menus and had to ask etc but the staff were very friendly. Some of the sharing dishes are very small compared to others for the price. All the dishes we tried were delicious. The decor is lovely and the ambiance is good. A nice place to go with a group of friends. Good cocktail list although too many choices had egg white for my liking but the tiny bubbles cocktail was fab. Would go here again.

Decor was great, we loved the crispy eggplant and pork cheek. The drinks we ordered only came after about three dishes were served, which was the only thing that could be improved. Nice waitresses but we were waiting at the door with no one at front of house, and it was a bit hard to get attention from where we sat at the Windows. Overall great experience, we will be back! Also balaclava was lovely for dessert.

Lovely food and decor, pleasant and helpful staff. None of our guests were really drinking much (one or two glasses of wine ordered) so the final bill was very reasonable as well. They suggest 3 sharing plates per person, but as a table of 3 ladies, we found 2 plates per person was filling enough!
