Perfectly located at the southern end of north Sydney’s Collaroy Beach, Dragonfly is often patronised by beachgoers up for an affordable Asian meal with distinct fusion cuisine flourishes. With plenty of gluten-free and vegetarian options on the menu, Dragonfly is also a universal dining destination. Try the restaurant’s famous tapioca shot, layered with coconut milk, palm sugar syrup and sesame seeds before diving headfirst into the a la carte menu. Combining Asian, Southeast Asian and modern Australian fusion cuisine, the menu at Dragonfly includes entrees like Queensland scallops with nam jim sauce and a grilled Wagyu beef salad with chilli, mint and tomato. Mains like the spicy Malaysian-style curried barramundi fillets and fiery Sichuan chicken with cashews are delicious house signatures not to be missed.
One of my favourite Restaurants. Always great food and great service
Very varied menu, great food, wonderful flavours with friendly and very attentive staff. Only issue was the traffic noise was very annoying, particularly the buses. Next time we will book after traffic peak hour or on the weekend. Definitely worth trying.
Great food. We shared 4 dishes between us and each dish was delicious. The staff were knowledgable and attentive. They worked very hard and seemed to be very efficient. We were inside and the restaurant was full, therefore quite noisy with general babble and echo. An outer table might have been better.
