About El Asador

El Asador Perth is as traditional as it gets. As the name suggests, the specialty here is Argentinian asador, or barbecue, which consists of grilling succulent meats on giant parrillas over lump charcoal to create a delicious and authentic smokey flavour. It’s a seriously delicious time. Inspired by the traditional cooking techniques of owner Max’s childhood, you can expect to find a whole host of options on the El Asador menu, all loaded up with flavour. Set within a stylish space on Bulwer Street in the heart of the Perth CBD – you’ll also find parking via Fitzgerald Street – this is one spot we just can’t get enough of. A local favourite for very good reason, reservations at El Asador are highly recommended.

More about El Asador, Perth CBD

Literally translating to the barbecuer, El Asador Perth is one of the best Argentinian restaurants in town. The barbecue, or parrilla, is the central focus of the space, which makes sense as the menu here is designed around it too. You’ve got a few options when it comes to ordering up food here, meaning this Perth CBD restaurant is perfect for any occasion, whether it’s a cosy night for two or a fully fledged celebration with your nearest and dearest. If you’re a lover of tradition, the full Argentinian barbecue is for you which comes with your very own asador who will whip up a feat you won’t soon forget.

In terms of slow-cooked meat at El Asador Perth, you’ll find asado beef short ribs; cordero Dorper lamb ribs and meat lovers platters of beef ribs, steak and chorizo. We also love the sandwich options which include the Churrasco filled with steak, roast capsicum salad, the signature El Asador chimichurri and mayo, and the Choripan & Morcipan loaded up with beef and pork chorizo, morcilla (black pudding) and that famous chimichurri. Whatever takes your fancy, this Perth CBD restaurant will leave you feeling all kinds of happy. So book a table at El Asador on Bulwer Street and treat yourself.

Definitely worth going back, catered to all our needs and made my mum (from Argentina) feel like she was back home again. Food was so good, loved it all.

Food very tasty with a good variety of choice. Ambience great. Service great. Prices reasonable for Perth. Will go again. Good BYO option so lack of licence not a problem.
