Had to stand outside for 25 minutes before our table was ready. Steak was okay, but not a traditional eye fillet that I thought I ordered The seafood linguine was very bland and watery There was no ambience because we couldn’t hear ourselves think

Overall an enjoyable evening with good food and company after a couple of hiccups. Firstly, after shown to our table, a booth, where we just settled we were asked to move to another booth as another party had requested the one we were in - bad seating management. Once settled in the second booth and drinks decided, we were told that one of the cocktails we ordered wasn’t available. Thereafter, everything went smoothly and the food delicious.

Balsalmic glaze overpowering in some dishes.— balsalmic vinegar is an alternative Please offer lemon with seafood dishes. Include Two more non-pasta, maybe pork/duck /chicken dishes. Lamb - delicious. Japanese slipper- perfectly executed. It was noisy- wait staff struggled to be heard-perhaps print out specials of day as insert to menu. Wait staff were well informed and attentive. Overall, excellent service, lighting, table layout.

Esca is always amazing. The waiters are the best in Melbourne. Dominic provides a warm welcome and Anthony’s menu is of the highest quality. We have been coming here for years.

Tasting platter and Tuna sushimi was amazing. King George whiting was battered which was a bit disappointing but I guess I should have read the menu

Escagrill cannot disappoint. From the moment you are greeted at the doorstep to the moment they accompany you out - it is exceptional experience. Superb service and mouth-watering food, mega busy yet exclusive atmosphere, uncomperable to any other restaurant.

From the people who work there to the food, everything was amazing, we highly recommend this restaurant.

I paid 10% for the tips but the waiter asked me if i could return the table in 5 mins after i paid my bills even i have not finished my wine and my total dining time was only around 50mins. Notwithstanding they simple took away my bottle of wine when i paid the bill without checking it is not yet empty. The whole experience is actually awful and the waitor is actually not respecting the customer (from my point of view). As a tourist, i spent my time travelling from CBD to the restaurant and i am expecting some nice food and a normal standard for fine dining but none of them exist. Not recommend my friend to come frankly.

HI team, we had a lovely night the waiters were very interactive. The noise level was high and I did have to flag a waiter down for another drink, but in both cases understandable as it was extremely busy.
