Amazing in all aspects ! Cannot wait to return for dinner again

Service was excellent and the food was excellent. This was our second visit — the first was for my wife’s 50th birthday, and this time we returned to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary. My wife and I loved the prosciutto platter and the fresh oysters. For mains, my wife ordered the mixed seafood on recommendation and absolutely loved it. I was recommended either the T‑bone or the Scotch fillet and chose the Scotch fillet, cooked medium‑rare. The steak itself was cooked perfectly; however, the sear was a little too charred, and the jus had a slightly burnt taste. I personally preferred the aged steak I had on our first visit. Overall, we were still very impressed. The service was lovely, the seafood was fantastic, and the meat was cooked well. We would definitely come back again. The only real disappointment was that there was no Bombe Alaska dessert that was advertised on the website menu.

We recently celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary with dinner at Escargrill. The last time we went out for a fancy dinner was when we were dating (kids and life got in the way), but that place has since closed. Our experience at Escargrill allowed us to take a trip down memory lane - white tablecloth, ambiance, fine dining. Food was great, and not as pricy as we thought it would be. Our waiter was very attentive and I admire his memory being able to recite the specials. I think we found our new place for special occasions.

Celebrating my mother’s 91st birthday at Escagrill was as delightful as last year celebrating her 90th! We were greeted warmly and served attentively throughout the evening. As always, the food was delicious - the specials of Tuna Carpaccio, Patagonian Swordfish were amazing as were the menu selections of Seafood Plate, King George Whiting and Linguine. Mum relished her BBQ Prawns and Baked Rock Lobster. Looking forward to repeating it all for many years to come. Thank you to the team at Escagrill!

Escagrill was an excellent experience from start to finish. The chef’s entrée set the tone perfectly, followed by a standout wagyu blood steak, cooked beautifully and full of flavour. The fish of the day was fresh and well-balanced, and both desserts, the tiramisu and the mousse, were a great way to finish. Overall, great food, well-executed dishes, and a really enjoyable dining experience. Would definitely recommend.

We were seated on the mezzanine level by the fish tank and a patron whilst going up the stairs caused the tank parts to fall onto our table and spill drinks all over the table and spoilt our dinner that was in process It was a special night out for us and our 34th wedding anniversary and put a dampener on our dining experience Having said that we were very pleased with our waiter service who assisted in cleaning up the debris and getting things back on track Just wanted to let you know that our dining experience was not what we expected on the night Regards David and Helen 0418593382

The flounder was very average. They took bookings but had no table so we waited an extra 15 minutes.

Escagrill never fails to impress. From the food to the wine and not forgetting the service you can never go wrong. Always highly recommended.

3 clams in the linguini were not open, should not have been served. Requested Rib Eye medium well done, was served rare. Disappointing. The mustard had a heavy skin on the surface. Minimally, the mustard should have been served fresh.

Had to stand outside for 25 minutes before our table was ready. Steak was okay, but not a traditional eye fillet that I thought I ordered The seafood linguine was very bland and watery There was no ambience because we couldn’t hear ourselves think

Overall an enjoyable evening with good food and company after a couple of hiccups. Firstly, after shown to our table, a booth, where we just settled we were asked to move to another booth as another party had requested the one we were in - bad seating management. Once settled in the second booth and drinks decided, we were told that one of the cocktails we ordered wasn’t available. Thereafter, everything went smoothly and the food delicious.

Balsalmic glaze overpowering in some dishes.— balsalmic vinegar is an alternative Please offer lemon with seafood dishes. Include Two more non-pasta, maybe pork/duck /chicken dishes. Lamb - delicious. Japanese slipper- perfectly executed. It was noisy- wait staff struggled to be heard-perhaps print out specials of day as insert to menu. Wait staff were well informed and attentive. Overall, excellent service, lighting, table layout.
