Evening Star Hotel in Surry Hills serves glorious Pan-Asian food done with a western twist. Head chef Sebastian Gee has put together a menu that features everything from Hong Kong street snacks like pork & chilli sausage spring rolls, right through to vibrant Asian salads and mains like crispy salt & native pepper squid. The restaurant itself is wonderfully stylish, dark and indulgent because it’s designed by Paul Kelly, and you’ll find it on the corner of Elizabeth Street and Cooper Street. It’s one of our favourite Asian diners in this part of Sydney and we can’t recommend a reservation enough.
