Conveniently located Indian restaurant in Fairfield. We enjoyed the palak paneer, fish curry and lamb curry. They heat the plates which is nice, although they bring them out too early, so they are cool by the time to food is served. We have been to this restaurant a few times on Saturday night and it was half empty each time, which is a puzzle since the food is excellent, although I would prefer it a bit hotter. The service is attentive. If you are tired of noisy places and want a quiet Indian meal with authentic atmosphere, Everest is a very good choice.
Apart from a minor hiccup in regard to the delivery of our final dish we had a very pleasant evening. All of the course we ordered were very tasty and generous in portion. The lamb vindaloo was probably the standout dish of the night. The staff were attentive and and helpful. There is no doubt we will return.
Fabulous food and great atmosphere. The restaurant is a landmark on Station St Fairfield and visits there are always a good time. Thanks to all the staff.
