Frank & Blanco - Sutherland

Fun restaurant cool place to hang with friends food good for sharing. We tried a variety of share plates loved the whitebait! Margherita Monday was a bonus!

Very cool little restaurant / bar with great cocktails and tapas style Mexican food. Will definitely be coming back again. Best chips I have ever had.

Great service and food. Wonderful cocktails and mixed drinks made to order. High bar stools weren't as comfy as down the back but my fault for not specifying :-)

Food was great but portions are small and overpriced. We had to to ask if there was a happy hour (there was but not every drink). Also had to ask if there was a specials board for dinner sitting.Waiter wasn't sure.

The service was begrudging all night! The only smile we got was on leaving, when we left a tip. We made a reservation for two and despite the place being nearly empty we were sat in a corridor opposite the kitchen and next to the pick up point for the food. When I asked to move because the heat from the food warming heater was too hot (it was a humid night in February) the only response I got from the waiter was 'that's fine by me' . Really? Not a good start. I'm afraid the disappointment continued with the food, which was average and overpriced. I had hopes for this place but unfortunately it hasn't broken out of the 'shire' mentality. Disappointing.

A cosy restaurant with really great food, very fast service, vibrant and friendly staff and killer cocktails. Had a great night there. Will go there again for sure.

Really enjoyed our night there. Tacos and corn were my favourite. Really funky place with a good atmosphere and great staff. Will definitely go back.

Lovely food & incredibly friendly staff. Cocktails were fantastic and reasonably priced too. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends :)

Good service, food was delicious. The reason I give it 4 not 5 is we were seated in a booth and the paint from the booth seat was peeling and stuck to my dress.

We had a fantastic night, with awesome service and amazing food. The staff are really friendly and very attentive. We will be making Frank and Blanco a regular night out. I look forward to trying a couple of different Tequila's each time we visit. I highly recommend this place !

Amazing food and cocktails served by extremely friendly and bubbly staff! Our meals and drinks came out so quickly! :) 5 star service accompanied by mouth watering food. What's not to love!

Food is amazing and the service was excellent. Will definitely be going back. Our server was only on her second shift and she was friendly and attentive all night.

The girls loved the cocktails, Shark beer was a quality drop too. Food was delicious and the wait staff very attentive and gave quality suggestions for both food and drink. Will go again, for sure.

We had a fantastic experience at Frank and Blanco, food great, service excellent....particularly one of the owners named Shy.....I would definitely go back and I live in Dapto so had to drive an hour to get there. Well worth the trip. Menu designed for sharing so while portions might seem small, they are so cheap that you can easily buy 6 or 7 dishes. We had a three course meal basically (mine including 2 drinks) for $34 which is great in my book.

Very very disappointed with the service and also the quality of the food. Waitress for not want to be there, the sangria was missing the wine, it tasted like watered down lemonade. The food was clearly precooked and warmed through before service. It took only10 minutes for starter and mains to be served, from the microwave or fryer. Nothing fresh here. When asked how was everything, we replied very average. No follow up from there though. 30 minutes in and out. Waste of time, don't bother.

Great food and friendly service by the staff. Location is very convenient to Sutherland station. Also, the cocktails are yummy. We highly recommend this restaurant.

The Nachos was very bland hardly any meat or cheese just like eating plain Doritos, the service and atmosphere were good though. The Cocktails were good. Reasonably priced.

Frank & Blanco has a great ambience and decor with friendly staff. The coffee are always delicious and in perfect balance with the milk. We had breakfast on Father's Day and enjoyed the Mexican flavours. Their huevos rancheros came as a baked dish with a side of tortilla - very enjoyable although a tad too salty for my taste. My daughter devoured the pulled-pork and my husband's plate hade hardly a crumb left at the end of the meal. Definitely worth a visit.

The service was terrible, the waitress did not want to be there. She was leaning over all of us to grab half the plates, then would leave the other half of the plates on the table until we requested that they were taken as well. The food was okay, the cocktails were only half full, although they tasted nice, I've never come across an espresso martini half full.

The food was lovely however being a coeliac I chose to have the tacos. However when they were served they were soft shell tacos. Nowhere on the menu could I see this description. So I had to order corn chips to serve my taco filling on. The waitress had no idea about whether the burritos were gluten free or not when we asked. On ordering the tacos I would have thought she would have said something about them not been gluten free. She may have been new. Unfortunately may not return as there isnt much that I can eat.
