The menu at Hey Griller has all the modern Australian delights you could hope for. We can never turn down starters and here, diners can get stuck into a crispy pork belly mini wrap with red bean sauce, crackling and fresh mango, or seared scallops with a gochujang chilli jam. After, become addicted to some fusion skewers: peri peri lamb, tiger prawns – customise as you like. Throw in a whole host of high-quality meats straight from the Asian grill and it’s no wonder regulars return again and again to this Victoria Park steakhouse. Book ahead of time to save your table!
We had a great night at the venue. The food was fresh and tasty and really well priced. The service was attentive without being overbearing. The venue itself was very pleasant. Going to highly recommend to my friends and we will definitely be coming back again.

Great atmosphere, great staff and most importantly great food. Food also came real fast. We ordered the entree scallops, entree squid and the famous flaming steak.
We had a party of 6 including 1 baby. The staff were great and friendly and the food was even better! We heard the salmon was great but unfortunately they were sold out so we are looking forward to returning.
We had Father's Day dinner at Hey Griller and it was our first time there. The ambience was lovely with the exception of the lighting being a little dim for our liking and there was a group of patrons at another table who were regularly laughing loudly which made it difficult for us to have conversation at times. The grilled fish and crispy skin salmon were cooked perfectly but did not get full points from us as the flesh itself was quite bland and had to be eaten with sauce for every mouthful. We also had the flaming crispy pork belly, flame iron (well done) and pork ribs. The meat were all cooked beautifully and were very flavourful. The crumbed stuffed mushroom was delicious too - the mushroom was plump and juicy and the crumb added a nice crunch and flavour to the mushroom. Overall it was a really pleasant dining experience.
this was our first visit to Hey Griller. We found the service was excellent even though every table was occupied. The meals we great. The Flamin' pork belly was a huge success but there was plenty of variety in the meal selections. There was also a lot of variety in meal size options which meant you could order to suit your appetite and budget. The prices were very reasonable. There were so many good options on the menu that we have decided we will revisit again soon to try the food we didn't get a chance to try this time.
Dissapointed... I’ve been here twice before and thought that the food was great however I definitely do not feel the same anymore. I ordered the char grilled lamb shank and the middle of it was cold. The wait staff who served us then kept saying that it shouldn’t be cold because it’s made fresh and I started to doubt myself.. so I got my partner to taste it and he confirmed that it was definitely cold in the middle. The wait staff then still went on about how it shouldn’t be cold... What I’m most disappointed about is not just the food, but the fact that when I told her my food was cold, the wait staff tried to disacknowledge me. Perhaps next time, acknowledge that it might be a mistake and I would have been ok with an apology. Another suggestion for Hey Griller - I think you may need to change the writing on your 20/30% off voucher (the ones that are put in mailboxes). On the voucher it says that “Locals 30% off on food” however when we paid, the discount only applied to mains and not entrees. I thought that it was a bit misleading.
Six of us had dinner here on a Saturday night. The menu options were broad and with the perfect mix of Modern Asian Fusion. The wines are excellent and very generously priced! I haven't seen a bottle of wine for $30 in a restaurant for years! Every one of our dishes was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. We even sat around for a long time after eating and never felt pressured to leave. We will be back!
Food was great but service and ambience could improve. When we made the order we specifically said nothing creamy (mayonnaise), cheese or eggy and out comes the first dish with dollops of mayo. Luckily, it was easy to scrap off. Mains came out and we got the twice cooked pork belly - delicious but again, came with a creamy honey mustard dressed coleslaw. The music selection could be improved and perhaps heating turned up (considering it's winter). Food was reasonably priced. Staff were very polite and means well but would benefit on some further training. With a few soft touches, this place could really be a hit.
Hey Griller is a fantastic little restaurant for small groups and a great place for a date. The food is terrific, and the meals are bursting with tantalising flavours. Definitely give this restaurant a try.
