We had Father's Day dinner at Hey Griller and it was our first time there. The ambience was lovely with the exception of the lighting being a little dim for our liking and there was a group of patrons at another table who were regularly laughing loudly which made it difficult for us to have conversation at times. The grilled fish and crispy skin salmon were cooked perfectly but did not get full points from us as the flesh itself was quite bland and had to be eaten with sauce for every mouthful. We also had the flaming crispy pork belly, flame iron (well done) and pork ribs. The meat were all cooked beautifully and were very flavourful. The crumbed stuffed mushroom was delicious too - the mushroom was plump and juicy and the crumb added a nice crunch and flavour to the mushroom. Overall it was a really pleasant dining experience.
Very happy with the meals, but the sauce that came with the Flaming pork belly was not nice and very strong aniseed taste. Another sauce would be appropriate. Very good service. Thanks Laureen
Hey Griller! Was definitely an experience, straight from the Crackling Pork Belly that is set upon fire as they present to you, to the attentiveness of the lovely staff. We will come back again
Great food. Entrees were nice (kebab share plate) Mains were delicious, Ribs perfect. Dessert was outstanding. good selection of drinks and friendly staff who knew what they were selling
Great food, I had the flaming pork belly and it was wonderful! Service was good and our meals came quite fast. Also the cocktails are amazing
