Himalaya Restaurant Liverpool is the Western Sydney branch of chef Ustad Mushtaq Ahmed's popular curry house franchise. Situated on Northumberland Street, it's an elegant venue with smart and traditional furnishings that complement classic Indian and Nepalese cuisines. The restaurant holds a Gold Catering license, so you can expect fast and friendly service. Lovers of aromatic spices come from right across Sydney to enjoy the all-you-can-eat Sunday lunch. It's also a good choice for vegetarians, thanks to its wide selection of entrées and specials such as potato papdi, spinach and cheese fritters and bitter gourd masala. Reservations are highly recommended to avoid disappointment.

Came here for a birthday dinner. 5/6 stars Only because the interior looked a bit like a takeaway shop rather than a restaurant. But my gosh the food was delicious and flavourful and perfect sized portions. One of the beat Indian food I have had. Will be back again!!
