This as a great little find. We had gone to their restaurant in Vietnam and loved it. The atmosphere was calm and eye catching and the food was nice.

Fav rest in Windsor. The Service, food and decor are all simply stunning. The new menu is awesome and the flavours out of this world.

Electronic ordering system cumbersome. Some dishes chosen, then told not available. Food good, as with most Vietnamese cuisine. Service polite and friendly. Definitely go again.

We enjoyed our dishes and the staff were very friendly. I'm not sure the new electronic tablet menu works well for a lot of people as it was a bit cumbersome and slow. It was also hard to gauge whether you had ordered too much. I think you would want to improve the speed of the software or go back to good old fashioned paper menus.

Food was very good, great tastes. Still like the idea of a paper menu to peruse even if we do order from the ipad - but it was ok. Would have been better if our chosen wine was available.

I love this restaurant. I have been to Miss Vy’s restaurants in Hoi An and they are wonderful. Coming to House of Hoi An is the closest thing to actually being in Vietnam.

Food was really delicious. Lovely atmosphere. They were trialing a new menu order scheme on an iPad. WiFi was a little slow and we had a few questions about food so we had to call the waiter over but we got there in the end

The service was terrible, and the food very very slow to come out. The ipad system is ridiculous you need to order on the ipad and still call the waiter and give it to them, decide one or the other. I suggested the restaurant to friends as it looked so beautiful and the food was good but totally over shadowed by the poor service.

The Green Mango Salad was truely wonderful. It was so authentic, just like the salad I last had at Morning Glory in Hoi An two years ago!! Will visit again when we are next in Melbourne. Jenny (Canberra)

I have eaten here a number of times. Some of the best Vietnamese food available in Melbourne. Not cheap by Vietnamese standards but worth it.

House of Hoi An was average, overpriced and quite noisy. we wont be returning here. also a number of items on the menu were not available at 6.30 on a Friday suggesting poor planning.

Ok dinner experience. Friendly, helpful staff. The food was expensive for what it was. The rice paper rolls were dry. The accompanying sauces were ungenerous. You can probably get better for less elsewhere.

Beautifully presented delicious food - so much flavor straight out of Hoi Ann- don't miss the caramalised pork belly or stuffed squid - brought back such wonderful memories of our recent trip to Vietnam & Ms Vys cooking school

Fantastic food and service. Will be going back again. Couldn't fault any of the meals. Highly recommend. I felt that the corkage was a bit steep at $10 a bottle.

It was good but nothing like its sister restaurant in Hoi An. Additionally they rushed us out of there. No offer of coffee or desert.

From the exterior walls to the entrances of the restaurant created a sense of being outside of Windsor! We loved the design and decor of the restaurant. The service was great, the food was wonderful! I dont know how I didn't rediscover House of Hoi An sooner!

Food was fresh and very good service . Their deserts is what lets the menu down . The ambience is good and you truly see things on the menu that you experienced in Hoi An if you have visited there

The food was very good but we were at a 6.30 sitting and the 3 courses we shared came out too close together time-wise. We felt a little rushed and the "main" we ordered, had to sit on the table whilst we finished the previous course. But, I reiterate that the food was very good. We probably should have only ordered as we ate!

Ambience and decor were sensational; service was great. Were disappointed to miss out of their signature dish of port-filled squid, but we were a late dinner sitting. Food was good.

House of Hoi An is our go to restaurant for Vietnamese food! I love the food and the staff and service is great! The food has always been on point and i don't have one thing that I can fault! You have to try my favourite dish there the whole snapper, it's absolutely AMAZING!!! Best of the best!

Excellent casual dining with wonderful home style Vietnamese cooking, although I think it would be beneficial for the staff to explain how to eat some of the dishes, for the uninitiated. Staff were friendly but could have been more attentive. Overall though, a great night out eating delicious food in a vibrant environment. BYO wine is a plus too ... but their wine and spirits list is decent and not too pricey.

Finally, real Asian food has landed in Melbourne! This is what "authentic" tastes like people - fresh ingredients carefully prepared, their subtle flavours infusing the dish (instead of being drowned out by cheap, gimmicky sauces you so often find in other restaurants especially of the contemporary and fusion variety). The prices are a wee bit steep for what you get in quantity, but justified given the level of preparation involved (e.g. hand pulled noodles etc).
