Great spot near the kids play area, thank you. Good menu choices, burger was fab. Shame about the rain all weekend, the outdoor area would have been good on a nice day
Generally the food was good although my friend's braised beef cheeks were sent back as they were as tough as an old boot. Some 20 minutes later another appeared which was much improved, but by the time she received it we had finished our meals. Also, we had a table near the automated door which kept opening even when no one was there. We asked if it could be closed but no response. So a chilly evening for the 8 of us.
Hi the hotel was lovely and dining area very nice. We sat in a booth and enjoyed the evening. We ordered the antipasto which was delightful and garlic and cheese bread + the prawn dish with sate sauce. We liked the first dishes but were disappointed with the prawn dish.
Great buzz about the place! Love the booths inside if you are looking for a place a little quieter to chat. Definitely family friendly :)
Good pub fair, menu variety good. Some menu items expensive, nice atmosphere. Able to accommodate large booking online. Staff friendly, easy parking. Good accessibility with lift from carpark.
Had not been to the Hunters Hill Hotel for quite some time. The renovations, service and food were all super. We'll be back for sure.
We have patronised the HHH for many years and basically we have no complaints about the staff and ambiance except that the music [that no one seem to listen to ]was too loud and the large TV screen was distracting. The Shiraz from South Australia 2 $ 35.00 a bottle was a disappointment Thanks Tullio Bogatai
Great food. Kid friendly though play area a bit of a non event. Outside tables are in full sun much of the day. Great pub.
Can't fault the food or service, great! Steak was perfect, salads abundant and great chips! However, way, way too noisy for dinner. We requested a 'quiet' area for dinner but was subjected to a 'screeching' singer and our table of 7 could not speak beyond the person sitting beside us. A shame, as we have frequented the 3H's for many many years and were hoping the renovations would make it more family orientated. Not to be. If we do return we will be calling in advance to ensure there will be no 'live' music
Initial arrival had to wait 15 minutes at main bar for service. When bar staff finally arrived was abrupt. Someone sitting at our reserved table that was rectified by staff. Hard to identify staff from patrons . Food came out reasonably quick was good quality and satisfying size for price. Waitress/bar person sour faced abrupt to talk to when asked for additional plates seemed a hard task. Returned with plates and abruptly dropped on table. Seemed to be having a bad day. Large crowd & undestaffed but not patrons issue. Food saving grace from soured customer experience. Location itself excellent. Upon leaving approached by staff apologising for wait at bar. No apologies from sour waitress.
NICE PUB FOOD, VERY CONVENIENT HOURS DURING THE WEEKEND. DINING AREA A BIT NOISY. GREAT OFF THE STREET PARKING AND GOOD ACCESS. BUZZING ON A SUNDAY NIGHT
The food and service were excellent. They happily accommodated our requests with the staff always smiling. It has a great atmosphere and parking was very easy.
