Chef Koji Ishiyama – yes, the restaurant is named after the head chef who opened it – takes a modern approach to traditional Japanese dining and strives to ensure quality with every dish. You can can expect sushi, sashimi, tempura, donburi, ramen, Japanese curry, udon and soba all cooked with aplomb. Ishiyama Japanese Dining is a gem in this part of Sydney and we can’t recommend it enough. Reservations are essential.
