The quality of the food and desserts were very good. However, for that the price, I think the restaurant can introduce a bit more variety to their menu. Overall it is a great place for a good feast.

The sashimi itself was good. But many of the hot dishes were underwhelming. The beef had no taste and tasted old. And the same applies for the karage.

We love isshin every time! The beef tataki is our favourite. So tender and melt in your mouth. Service is always good.

The waitresses were lovely, the food was prompt and delicious. The chocolate mousse was amazing, I highly recommend it.

It appeared initially that they did not have enough staff, however food eventually came, albeit timing was a bit out of whack. The fried food appeared to be mostly bought stuff, and the "special" fried squid legs were very rubbery. They forgot the one dessert order that had to be made (daifoku) so we had to wait after everyone else at our table had to go. Staff were pleasant enough but no apparent leadership or direction. After all that, they charged the wrong bill and I had to go back the next day. We have eaten here and also Okami several times in the past and think Okami is a far better option.
