‘Experience Thailand through a journey of taste’. And in undertaking this culinary voyage to The Land Of Smiles – yes, at Kasalong Thai Cuisine the service is as fantastic as the food and as friendly as the price – you’re embarking on a journey into some of Sydney’s most superb Southeast Asian cuisine. More than just your run-of-the-mill Thai restaurant, the two sisters and expert chefs that run Kasalong have thoroughly researched the regional cuisine of their homeland, bringing Bangkok-style favourites, ‘vibrant, bold and aromatic’ northeastern Issan dishes, and balanced delicacies from the northern provinces to a new home in North Ryde. A great way to get acquainted with Kasalong’s culinary curatorship is to book a banquet at their modern Coxs Road restaurant – just leave room for your traditional Southeast Asian sweets!
I went for a business meeting and I wasn't let down by the reviews like. Food was good, ambience very nice. The balcony seating for two is romantic as there is a very nice view. We sat inside as we are 3 and it's a business dinner. We ordered Tom yam rice, Tom ka soul, crying tiger, cashew stir fried chicken , sticky rice mango desert and deep friend ice cream. The owner is very friendly and kept making sure everything is okay. My guests were happy.
Good food and atmosphere. It's a small Thai restaurant on the second floor, so a bit hard to find, but the quality is very good.
Delicious Thai dishes, love the three sauce fish, the pineapple rice and crying tiger beef. However, this second visit, the crying tiger is over cooked. Hope that it would be tender next time. A little care on the bill is required as there were errors during our second visit.
