There are now a small handful of La Porchetta restaurants across Australia but you’ll find this one in the heart of Wagga Wagga on Baylis Street. Quite rightly it is a very popular local spot, so reserving a table in advance is certainly recommended.

Just as is the way in Italy, at any La Porchetta restaurant the aim is to ensure that plenty of happy times happen around the dinner table – where love, conversation and excellent food and drink come together to make something special. We suspect this is precisely the reason why La Porchetta continues to be so be so popular in Australia and even New Zealand. You’ll find this restaurant on central Wagga Wagga’s Baylis Street, just one of many La Porchetta locations to be born since Felice Nania and Rocky Pantaleo first opened the doors all those years ago.

The food at La Porchetta Wagga Wagga is kept simple and honest, so you can expect classic Italian dishes and flavours from the menu as a result of only the most authentic produce being used. Whether you opt for pizza and pasta, or a fish, meat or poultry main, we’re quite sure the food will leave a smile on your face. We’d certainly recommend trying pizzas from different regions of Italy, the Italian sausage and broccoli from Puglia being a winner, as well as the roasted pumpkin calzone from Campania. La Porchetta offers a great range for carnivores as well as for vegetarians, and there’s even gluten-free pasta which can often hard to come by in Wagga Wagga. Enjoy!
