The food is even classier, with options like squid ink scialatielli and poached rainbow trout gracing the menu. Vegetarians are recommended to try the ravioli stuffed with greens and ricotta, served alongside a delicate lemon, herb and butter sauce. If you’re a couple, we recommend you share the slow-cooked lamb leg, a dish meant for two, served with onion pie, greens, yoghurt and spiced lamb jus. Loved this restaurant for the friendly,attentive service with very good food to match. It was as a fantastic Italian experience with a few modern twists. The house made tomato sauce served with the mushroom arancini was superb, I would buy this by the bottle if the chef sold it!! Also loved the crispy tempura prawns (so fresh) with wasabi mayo. My husband had the 24 hr slow cooked beef ribs served with roast potatoes. The meat melted in the mouth and the potatoes were possibly the crispiest ones we have ever had. I chose the ravioli of the day which was Mushroom ravioli with a parmesan cheese sauce. So satisfyingly rich and tasty. We will definitely be back.
Fabulous fresh food as always. Friendly and welcoming, just great all round. We shared the ravoli, which is sublime. Hubby had the succulent lamb ribs and chicken for me. Hard to fault.
Nice atmosphere but the fusion style Italian with a hint of Asian just didn't work for me. Entrees dishes were more enjoyable than main dishes.
