Out in Sydney’s wild west there’s a little gem of an Italian restaurant to be found tucked up in the West Pennant Hills. Lemoncello, punning on the famous liqueur, the zest of the best Italian cuisine, and the richest instrument in the orchestral string section, is a stylish restaurant with both alfresco and formal dining options available. Lemoncello serves modern Italian cuisine, making use of time-honoured recipes tailored to suit the contemporary palate. A great wine list is a must for any Italian restaurant worth its rock salt, and Lemoncello delivers with aplomb. Book your tables at Lemoncello’s Coonara Avenue address, at the Coonara Shopping Centre, to ensure you reserve a spot.
Treading the fine line between casual and formal dining, Lemoncello offers refinement with a friendly face at its premises at the Coonara Shopping Centre along Coonara Avenue in West Pennant Hills. The prices are far from those you’d associate with upscale Sydney Italian restaurants, but the food is of a superlative calibre, reflecting the classics of Italian cuisine given a considerate update to fall in line with modern culinary trends. West Pennant Hills residents love Lemoncello’s Italian breakfasts from the innovative cafe menu, available all day, but all bases are covered with lunch available from 11am, including pizza and pasta dishes. Lemoncello’s experienced chefs bring a varied European vibe to the restaurant by preparing a new lunch special with global flavours very week.
In the evenings, Lemoncello offers diners a mouthwatering menu drawing from traditional italian recipes, with the dishes themselves tweaked to to reflect more contemporary culinary trends. Case in point, and rare for an Italian restaurant, the majority of the dishes on Lemoncello’s menu are available gluten-free. More importantly each and every dish at this stylish West Pennant Hills Italian restaurant is made using the freshest ingredients – something that proper Italian cuisine demands. Start with the antipasto misto (Italian cheeses, meats, veggies dips, olives and wood-fired bread) for two, especially if you’re here on a romantic night out, before tackling the huge range of pasta dishes and classic Italian main courses. Finish with a homemade dessert and you’ll understand why Lemoncello is top ranked among western Sydney’s Italian restaurants.
Food was good and service was friendly. It was an enjoyable lunch for a family of six. Will be planning another visit in the near future.

We went to Lemoncello for our 21st Wedding Anniversary. The food was really good and the wait staff were very friendly and prompt. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and would certainly return.
Every time I've eaten at Lemoncello the food is really tasty and comes out quickly. Great spot if you are in your lunch break. Will be back.
We were very pleasantly surprised at our visit to Lemoncello today for lunch. We had not been there before but will definitely be going again and again. The lady who served us, was knowledgeable on everything we queried about the food - she did not need to write our order down - and it was perfect when it arrived at our table. All four of us had pastas and a lovely fresh salad in the centre of the table. There are three areas of seating - outside and undercover, the lower area in the restaurant and a slightly higher area (up three steps) . It is BYO wine only and full licensed. There is plenty of parking and we will definitely have a return visit to this restaurant.
We went to Lemoncello for a family dinner on a Friday night. Staff were prompt to receive us and show us to our table and took the orders. Food was served within reasonable time and it was very tasty. Staff were prompt and service was very good. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We have been to Lemoncellos for breakfast but never for dinner. I took all my family for dinner and they love it. Not one complaint. The staff are lovely and even though it was packed, the service was great too.
It was a very busy and hot evening but we were seated quickly with the wait person bringing an ice bucket and glasses to our table almost as soon as we sat down. Our pizza was well topped, not too much so that it became soggy but enough to make it tasty and our Gambari pasta was tasty but could have had a hit more chilli. Very pleasant and good value.
Lemoncello is a very popular local Italian Restaurant in West Pennant Hills. Friendly service and good food. The restaurant has plenty of parking available . Definitely recommend Lemoncello.
Sadly, today we were disappointed with our lunch experience. I had checked if the restaurant was air conditioned but after today it apparently is not ... and the acoustics are terrible which really should be addressed as they must lose a lot of clientele due to this aspect. The waitress was run off her feet and probably hot like the rest of us as the sole fan in the corner did nothing to help - probably due to this the service was abrupt and minimal. We have been here previously a few times for dinner and the food is generally quite good - as it was today.
