Known for their old-fashioned Italian bakery-style square pizzas, you’ll find no shortage of options on the menu at Sydney’s Liana’s Italian Restaurant, from classics like the margherita and pepperoni to exciting choices like the potato crust pizza with thinly-sliced crispy kipfler potatoes, rosemary and extra virgin oil. Meat lovers will love the carnivore pizza, topped with ham, beef, salami, bacon, cabanossi, pepperoni and BBQ sauce, or you could go veg with the delicious vegetarian pizza topped with mushrooms, capsicum, onion, artichokes, eggplant, feta and olives.
Liana’s Italian Restaurant’s dessert menu is worth a trip to Parramatta’s Church Street on it’s own, with options like the chocolate mud cake (a rich chocolate cake served with fudge sauce and chocolate gelato) and strawberry ‘crespelles’ (thin crepes rolled with fresh, sliced strawberries and mascarpone cream drizzled with a warm chocolate sauce, strawberry coulis and served with ice-cream). Great food and great customer service. Food is delicious with a wide variety to choose from. Would go there again and would definitely recommend to family and friends.
Fantastic food, great service and the location is so good. We have been to Liana's for at least 5 times now. I highly recommend it
Great Location. Great atmosphere. Great food, lovely people. Great prices. Huge meals. Daughter said the best carbonara she has ever had. We'll definately be back.
Liana's at Parramatta is our favourite restaurant. The service is very good and the food is absolutely delicious. I have some food allergies but this is not a problem as the staff and chefs are willing and able to cater for me and still offer me a range of delicious meals. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Lianas is a fantastic Italian restaurant, it is a great local establishment. Lots of dishes to choose from - I have never sampled a main meal I didn't enjoy from there. There is defiantly something for everyone. Prices are mid range. The deserts are not my favourite (the crème brûlée and sticky date is very nice, but the panacotta is a little be lacking) - but the rest of the menu is great! The waitresses are always lovely - service is very good but can be a little slow at times (especially when busy - so that is to be expected)- but not overly so. I have been to Lianas many time and will continue to do so! one of my favourite Italian Restaurants, I always take friends and family there - I highly recommend it!
I booked in for 5 people upon arrival we were greeted and shown to our table which was already prepared for .us . Service was excellent and the food was hot and well presented .there was ample of food for all of us and we ordered coffee which was also hot when it arrived at our table . The bill was very reasonable for the amount that we ordered. It wasn't noisy ( with loud music ) so we were all able to converse with each other . Will be returning .
Great meals and friendly service. The Serving size was very large as well. My only small complaint was that I didnt want octopus in my dish - asked to not put it in but was told it was pre made and they couldnt serve it without the octopus. I chose another dish instead but had no complaints on the 2nd dish
We arrived at 11.58am for a 12pm booking to be rudely told 'we're actually not open yet, but I guess you can sit down'. Mind you the sign on the door said 'Open'. We weren't the only ones told this. No complaints at all about the food though. The pizza and bruschetta was delicious. Arrived nice and quick. If anything there could be a few less choices on the menu. It's huge!!
Food was great ~ everything is tasty. However, was not impress with their attitude when I was asking them for a high chair for my daughter as they said people have called in to reserve table with high chair. I had to challenge them that I indeed did make reservation but via online. Half way through dinner, I've noticed that reserved table has ended up with a couple without kid. Not impress with their service. Will probably say not kids friendly and will come again only for adults gathering.
Prompt friendly service. They permit BYO wine which was good. The eye fillet steak was beautifully cooked and was medium rare just as requested. Living in Parramatta, this is my local regular restaurant. I often have business dinners here and also come privately. In my opinion, Lianas offers the most consistent service and food quality in Parramatta.
Service was very friendly and quick given how busy the restaurant was on a Saturday night. The food was excellent - I had the eye fillet steak ad my wife had the barrumundi. Both were cooked very well and portion sizes were fine. I often dine here privately and on business and have yet to be disappointed.
Went to celebrate my 21st birthday and had a great experience. The food is absolutely incredible, especially enjoyed the veal saltimbocca and the lobster mornay. The atmosphere is lovely though a tad dark and the service was impeccable. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend!
We were ignored by wait staff on Valentines Day. When we made eye contact, they looked away and proceeded with another task. We weren't even offered dessert menus, or asked how our meal was. When we finally got up to pay, 30 minutes after our plates were cleared, a waitperson instantly proceeded to clean our table, yet couldn't ask either my partner or I if we were okay when we were seated, seeing as though we were with no crockery or menus, for 30 minutes.
Service was great, restaurant was near capacity but we had food on our table within 15 minutes. Pizza was great, garlic bread was good, chilly crust has a little too much chilly on it, pesto was very rich and risotto didn't have any seasoning. Overall, good experience and will visit again.
Service was good, the staff were very friendly. I think they have too many options on the menu which lets their food quality down. Our octopus starter was over cooked, as was my salmon (the skin was actually burnt) and my nicoise salad was quite vinegary. However as this is the first time eating here I don't know if they were having an off night or not. The highlight of the evening was the giant fiah in their tank that seemed to dislike my boyfriend as it was constantly trying to get through the glass to eat him. Haha.
Delicious food and nice atmosphere. There is such a broad menu with a lot of yummy dishes that are reasonably priced. Drinks menu is great too. Beautiful fish tank. Strongly reccommend
Really enjoyed the the yummy pizzas and quick service! Will be back to try the Nutella pizza next time! Maybe just needs some air con because it was a little stuffy inside after a warm day.
Good service, big portions, delicious food.. We had risotto a selection of pastas and pizza.. Not a big fan of the risotto however thier pasta and pizza are cooked to perfection.. Great place overall.. Good atmosphere...
Great food, big portions and the waitresses are friendly and very hot. I have tried all the Italian Restaurants on Church St, Parramatta and I think this is the best. Keep up the good work.
The food was excellent. Service was a little slow but overall a good dining experience. Although a fully licensed restaurant I was happy that I could bring my own wine. I would go back again
Authentic Italian restaurant. Staff are nice. Food served quickly. Price is affordable. I enjoyed the time there. Very nice restaurant in Parramatta. If you like Italian food. Must try
restaurant wasn't busy but it still took the waitress a while to come and take our orders and the meals took a while to come out. Still managed to eat within our lunch break though. Waitresses were just standing around talking most of the time. Not a good look for the restaurant. Food was very good though.
Service and food was good. Only quibble is that the second came out too fast- I was still finishing my entrée, but that is really a minor issue in the grand scheme of things.
We were going to a show and asked to be served as quick as possible, they didn't disappoint! Delicious food and byo as well, will definitely be back
The best food and service! Everything was on time, smooth, and the plates looked delicious, the ambience was nice, and the food was incredible! Will definitely go again!
This visit was not quite as good as our last visit. The wait staff were busy but it took 15 minutes for them to give us a menu and take a drinks order! Food was ok and to the same good standard.
The staff are friendly and are quick to assist. The food was also served quickly despite the restaurant being almost full. The pasta is also good! Definitely worth paying a visit
Easy to find and the food was good. The background noise made it a little difficult to hear the dinner companions. but this is to be expected in a busy restaurant.
Service was good, menu was extensive and everybody enjoyed their meal. Would recommend Liana's to anybody wanting a good, reasonably prices Italian meal. Kids menu also gave some good options.
It is always a pleasure to dine here. The food is plentiful and service is great. I can highly recommend a visit here it is always a treat.
Disappointed by the quality of food and associated cost. This was also compounded by poor service staff behavior on three occasions during the evening that disrupted what could have been a more pleasant dining experience. "Wait staff should not be approaching a diner when they are half way through their meal with the intention of clearing the whole table." There is better value at other establishments in Parramatta.
The food was very good, the staff were pleasant and helpful. Very enjoyable lunch with friends. We will return to Liana's again because of the above reasons.
Overall it was good. Service was good, food was ok, not amazing but not bad either. Overall it was just an ok restaurant. Glad I went, but probably wont rush to go back.
Good service, great food. We enjoyed the garlic prawns and tortilini bosciola - always our favourites! Portion sizes are large - and you can always take leftovers home - great value for money.
Always have a good meal here. The restaurant is a bit squashy as far as seating is concerned. Handy to the Riverside Theatre. Service always quick.
Nice atmosphere, tasty food, specialy pasta, frendry staff. Also reasonable price we spent about $40 dolla each parsons We had great time at Saturday dinner.
Food was excellent. The service was not quite as good as usual with the waitresses sour-faced most of the time. I think they were new.
The staff was friendly, and service was super fast ( it was a quiet lunch period though so this could be why). Food was fantastic!
Large meals and entrees were great. Some mains were a little over cooked but great selection. Unfortunately service was very slow and disinterested in being of any help throughout the meal
The food was good. The service was not up to the usual standard, maybe the staff was training. Overall it was a good night and I would go back again.
Quality of food was terrible, all the steaks were over cooked and tough. Every meal wasd drowned in sauce. I ordered saltimbocca and it wasn't made the way it should be. The only decent meal was the pizza which was quite good. The rest was very below average. Definitely will not be going back
Good service. Atmosphere was nice. Food was ok. Had heard great reviews so wanted to give it a try. Menu quite extensive with good vegan/ veg options
Generous portions, pasta was cooked well, the service was a lacking a little but overall a good experience. Would come back again. Didn't try the desserts though.
We have been to your Restraunt many times in the past and loved it. Unfortunately everyone dining this time commented that the food was ok but not up to your usual standed . For me it was nice except my meal was warm on the top but cold on the bottom.
Extensive menu of good quality. Would prefer if meals were slightly smaller and slightly less expensive. Overall a nice experience and ambience to match .
Normally the complaint at a restaurant is slowness--on this visit---when the restaurant was 3/4 EMPTY---we had our mains on the table while we were still eating our entrée---so its GREAT if you are in a hurry--but if you're catching up with friends for the first time in years--its bloody rude--someone NOT doing their job for this to happen--good food spoilt -by just about having it crammed down our throats
Service was poor, had to beckon to a waitress to come and take an order for pre-dinner drinks and the service staff weren't busy - just talking. Paella had part of a blue swimmer crab in it but no crab crackers provided and my wife cut her hand whilst trying to open a leg. Manager advised that crackers should have been provided. Food was not particularly appetizing.
Terrible service and the food wasn't fantastic. Luckily we had an entertainment voucher and got 25% off the bill. I won't be visiting again unfortunately.
