Little China Girl restaurant

I celebrated my 25th birthday at Little China Girl on Saturday the 14th with a group of friends. I had a really great experience! One of the waitresses (might have been the owner) was so lovely and I didn't get to thank her before I left. Just wanted to let her know she was amazing, the food was amazing and I loved it!

Thanks to the wonderful staff at Little China Girl! We ate so many fabulous dishes and it was way cheaper than expected. Will be back for sure!

Lovely food, fresh and delicious. Great price, well worth the visit!

The chicken feet dish is probably one of the best I've had. I like how there is a roasted garlic taste to it. The prawn dumplings is nice too. It would be nice if they can improve on their congees and siew mai.

My favourite dim sum in Perth! Heard the owner said there will new menu with a lot of vegan / vegetarian options added! can’t wait! My friends from Sydney were impressed with the charcoal custard bun!

Came in with a table of 12. Great service, friendly staff and the food was divine. Thank you for accommodating us so well on a busy Saturday night. We will be back again for sure!

Overall average, and for the price charged, we expected better quality. For e.g., the salted egg custard bun (lou sar bao) had clumpy and gluggy custard, which should have been liquid. Some dumplings had good skin/pastry i.e. thin, but others were too thick. Taro crispy dumpling under-seasoned, charsiu bao was definitely a little stale. Cutlery also needed to be wiped down.

Food was very good. A bit tight. And pretty warm inside.

Service and food was average, nothing to write home about. Trying to contact the restaurant over the telephone is terrible. They dont reply for days, wheh they do they arrogantly insist they replied. The telephone is a mobile number which they often turn off. Not concerned for customer service over the telephone for reservations and rather rude. However this is only from the male owner. Wife and other staff very polite and efficient

We have tried a fair few Sunday yum cha places in Perth and vote this one the best to date! Long overdue visit. Delicious, fresh dim sum, and the ho fun noodles were exceptional. Service was excellent, friendly, smiley and slick. Our bigger round table would have benefited from a Lazy Susan, but otherwise couldn’t fault our experience. Fantastic that you can make a reservation for yum cha on a Sun, convenient to the station, great pricing. Will definitely be returning. Huge thumbs up!

Good variety of dishes and tasty. Tried the mushroom steamed dumplings and brown sugar walnut buns for the first time and enjoyed it. Loved the painting on the wall. Service was pretty good. Good value for money. A real plus to be able to book a table rather than queue for one.

Experience was a bit average. I was greeted promptly but when we were ready to order, it wasn’t as prompt. Given the nearly empty restaurant I did expect a higher level of attendance. The siew mai was extremely fresh and delicious but the squid needed seasoning and tasted of oil. Yum cha is amazing in Northbridge so this experience won’t draw me away from my usual go tos.

Awesome atmosphere and authentic dim sum! Not a lot of places offer reservations for yumcha! Will definitely be back!

Great food. Service staff stretched at peak time. Stairs to upstairs dining can be a problem for the frail or elderly.

The service was terrible. Maybe its cause we went on a Monday, but it was awful. The trolley was full of food and no one brought it around. Aside from the one chance initially when we sat down to get some food from the trolley, we were not asked if we wanted more, or wanted to order anything. The old bamboo baskets were removed from the table, no one asked if we were done or if we were ok... and we literally waved at the waiter to try to ask him for a fork and he just nodded and went off to do something else, so then we had to wait even longer for him to come back and ask for a fork. Eventually we got sick of waiting and left. Its a real shame, because the food that we did try was really yummy.

It was our first time and we loved the food. The salt and pepper squid wasn't too oily, the broth of the shanghai dumplings exploded in our mouths and the salted fish and egg rice wasn't ridiculously salty. We got a few other dishes and all of them were delicious.

Brilliant. Only middle rating on anything was atmosphere but that was because we were there early and missed the crowds. Will be back!
