About Live Love Eat... by Lanna Tran

Tri and Leanna Tran left Vietnam in 1980 with a dream and no little determination. They touched down in Hobart, and Tri immediately got stuck into a KFC – something he still celebrates every April 30th, the anniversary of the day that he arrived. They’ve since moved up from Tasman to Mosman in Sydney, where they offer something significantly more upmarket than the Colonel’s finest: Vietnamese cuisine of the highest order, doled out to the demanding public from their location on Military Road. Further Information

The story of Tri and Leanna’s arrival in Australia is a dramatic one, with escape from Vietnam evading pirates, and their success since opening up in Masman has been almost as spectacular. They’ve won countless awards for their authentic Vietnamese cuisine, and – as important to the Tran’s – built a superb reputation among the discerning diners of Sydney. They are based on Military Road – a short hop from the water at Balmoral Beach – and their menu makes them more than worth the effort of a trip out to the North Shore.

The dishes on offer at Live Love Eat by Lanna Tran in Mosman include all the usual Vietnamese favourites, but let us talk you through some of the lesser known, more authentic specialities. Always beautiful food. Very pricey tho- especially the prawn special on board. Staff all polite and efficient. Very noisy but atmosphere makes it all worthwhile.
