Specialising in Austrian and German cuisines, Maggie’s Potts Point brings a slice of Europe to Sydney. Not your typical Austrian and German restaurant, Maggie’s is casual, relaxed and more like a cafe than a beerhall – which we love. Open from frühstuck (breakfast), right through until abendessen (dinner), you’ll find a wide selection of dishes you’re guaranteed to love. We recommend starting with duck terrine with cranberry sauce; smoked trout salad and deep-fried camembert, before a main of Wiener schnitzel served with cabbage salad and Maggie’s signature rosti; goulash cooked in a spicy paprika sauce with homemade spätzle (flour dumplings) or beef medallions smothered in pepper sauce. Maggie’s Potts Point is located on MacLeay Street, not far from Elizabeth Bay and Kings Cross, where reservations are essential to avoid disappointment.
