Mother Teresa herself was actually Albanian – they named their main airport in Tirana after her, in fact – but that hasn’t stopped Mamma Teresa Italian Restaurant in Kingsford from naming their establishment after her. She was a bit of a hero after all, and while her love of Italian food is not particularly recorded, the Italian favourites on offer at Mamma Teresa might be enough to change her mind. You can find them down on Anzac Parade in the south of Sydney, where they offer up Italian specialities from 5pm every day. Book a table now.
Great restaurant. Lovely staff always wanting to please. Had a birthday dinner here.
Always great food and friendly service, with lots of menu choices. Only downside is it's a bit noisy, but the food and warm atmosphere outweighs the noise. Will be back!
A family friendly Italian gem that we have been going to for years. Their Quattro Formaggio pasta is the best in town as is their homemade Tiramisu (with a scoop of gelato)!!!
Italian food is always popular in Sydney, and usually that means a trip out to Leichhardt and Norton Street. Mamma Teresa Italian Restaurant is not in that area – you can find them down on Anzac Parade in Kingsford, right by the University of New South Wales – but they certainly offer a take on Italian cuisine that is as authentic as any found in the Inner West. They pride themselves on doing the classics well, with pizzas and pastas on offer that are the envy of many an Italian restaurant in Sydney.
