Whether you’re weathering the Wet or Dry seasons in the Top End, Darwin is likely to be one port of call of any tour of the beautiful, remote Australian Northern Territory. With the capital fast becoming a destination for tourism, the city is also seeing a boom in the restaurant trade, with new places opening up like wildfire, but a decidedly palatable wildfire. A great exponent of Southeast Asian cuisine in the CBD – yes, you can almost see the food’s origins over the water – is Mellow Thai Restaurant and Cafe, serving breakfast and lunch from the early hour of 8am until 2pm, and dinner from 5:30pm until the boss decides he’s had enough – every day of the week. Book a table to get yourself some Thai food you won’t soon forget.
The waitress and waier was very welcoming and friendly. The meals were very high quality and a laerge variety all at a very affordable price. Comfortable and relaxed atmosphere Great foe families
The terrace at night is a bit too much exposed to the after party crowd. Meals were perfect but one on 4 that was too dry. Team is nice.
